About the Role

The Director of Marketing leads OpenWorks' marketing strategy and execution, driving demand generation, lead acquisition, and pipeline growth across the organization. This role owns the development and optimization of integrated marketing programs that increase brand visibility, generate qualified opportunities, and support revenue growth.


You'll serve as a strategic partner to sales and executive leadership while remaining hands-on in campaign development, digital marketing, content creation, and performance optimization. You'll also play a key role in building scalable marketing programs, improving conversion performance, and creating a stronger marketing engine that drives measurable business results.


What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, qualified lead generation, and business growth.
  • Lead multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital, email, content, social media, website, and paid advertising channels.
  • Partner closely with sales leadership to create targeted campaigns, sales enablement resources, and customer acquisition strategies.
  • Analyze campaign, website, and funnel performance to improve lead quality, conversion rates, and marketing effectiveness.
  • Lead content strategy, messaging, and brand positioning that support customer acquisition, franchise growth, and market differentiation.
  • Oversee OpenWorks' digital presence, including website optimization, marketing technology platforms, and social media engagement.
  • Support franchise growth and local market success through scalable marketing programs, tools, and resources.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a small marketing team while managing external agencies, vendors, and strategic partners.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to align marketing initiatives with company objectives and revenue goals.


What You Bring

  • 7+ years of progressive marketing experience with a strong foundation in demand generation, digital marketing, campaign management, and brand strategy.
  • Demonstrated success developing marketing programs that generate qualified leads, support revenue growth, and deliver measurable business results.
  • Experience creating and optimizing campaigns across email, web, content, social media, paid advertising, and marketing automation platforms.
  • Strong copywriting, communication, and storytelling skills with the ability to translate business goals into compelling marketing initiatives.
  • Experience partnering closely with sales and executive leadership to align marketing efforts with growth objectives.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams while balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution.
  • Experience in B2B, franchising, field services, facilities services, or other multi-location service-based organizations is a plus.
