Role Overview

As SVP, Paid Media & Amplification at /prompt, you will lead and evolve our paid media capability — translating agency vision into practical systems, strong execution, and measurable client outcomes.


This role plays a critical part in delivering on our agency promise to outsmart — ensuring media investment works harder through smarter planning, sharper execution, and stronger connection between data, channels, and results.

You will oversee a growing paid media function, including the integration of an acquired media team, and establish the ways of working, team structure, and operational discipline needed to make the capability effective and scalable.


At this level, you are a senior operator and leader — responsible for building a high-performing team, delivering excellent work for clients, and contributing to the continued growth of media services within the agency.

You will be a senior voice in media across the agency, leading strategy, supporting client conversations, and helping position /prompt as a contemporary, outcome-driven partner, including in regulated categories such as pharma and healthcare.


This role sits within Audience Experience — an integrated discipline dedicated to designing culturally fluent storymaking experiences that are strategically planned, precision-amplified, and built for measurable impact.


Skillset

Build and operationalize a modern paid media capability within an integrated agency model

  • Establish and refine a paid media offering that is cohesive, scalable, and aligned to /prompt’s market position 
  • Implement ways of working that integrate Paid Media with Creative, Audience Experience, Science, and Client Experience 
  • Develop and apply frameworks for planning, activation, optimization, and reporting across clients 
  • Partner with Science to translate data, measurement, and attribution into actionable media strategy 
  • Collaborate with Finance to support revenue models, pricing structures, and performance tracking


Integrate, assess, and lead high-performing media teams


  • Lead the integration of an acquired media team into a unified, high-functioning group under /prompt ·
  • Assess existing talent and define a clear team structure, roles, and expectations 
  • Develop paid media talent through coaching, clarity of responsibility, and consistent standards 
  • Maintain a hands-on, operator-led culture while introducing scalable systems and processes

Serve a senior media lead in client strategy and growth 

  • Lead paid media strategy across key accounts and support new business pitches 
  • Build client confidence in /prompt’s ability to plan and execute paid media effectively 
  • Translate media strategies into clear, compelling narratives for senior stakeholders 
  • Identify opportunities to expand paid media services across existing accounts 
  • Contribute to media revenue growth through strong delivery and client trust


Lead across brand and performance media with strong strategic judgment 

  • Understand when to prioritize brand-building versus performance-driven approaches, and how to connect the two  
  • Develop media strategies that support how audiences experience ideas, not just how media is deployed  
  • Guide channel selection and budget allocation across social, search, programmatic, CTV, and affiliate  
  • Support the development of affiliate as an integrated capability  
  • Provide performance feedback that strengthens Creative and Audience Experience outputs  
  • Ensure all media activity meets the standards required for regulated industries, including pharma and healthcare

90-Day Expectations 

  • A clear operating plan for Paid Media is established and ready for leadership sign-off, including team structure, roles, external partner strategy, and a roadmap for scaling the capability 
  • A defined and actionable integration plan is in place for the acquired media team, including ways of working and role clarity 
  • A market-facing POV for Paid Media & Amplification is developed and being applied in client conversations and new business 
  • Foundational financial structures are established in partnership with Finance, including initial approaches to pricing, bill rates, and profitability 
  • A differentiated approach to paid media in regulated categories is defined, establishing how /prompt will plan and activate beyond standard media models
