Who We Want:

Q’Apel is looking for a Clinical Specialist to deliver detailed technical support for neurovascular products and procedures to a diverse group of clinical professionals, including physicians, nurses, and technicians. This role involves supporting sales representatives during critical cases, particularly those requiring technical assistance for the safe and effective use of our products. The Clinical Specialist will plan, coordinate, and implement clinical evaluations to ensure the acceptance of all technological devices. Additional responsibilities include maintaining vendor hospital credentials, training employees in the clinical field, conducting clinical research, and participating in case reviews.



What You’ll Work On:


Position Responsibilities and Authorities:

  • Case support and coverage, troubleshooting, customer service and follow-up.
  • Work with the Regional Sales Manager and team members to develop and implement a regional plan aimed at increasing market shares and improving the quality of service to customers
  • Develop relationships with hospital personnel to expand contacts, identify key decision makers and facilitate future sales
  • Meet with existing and potential customers to identify their clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care, and to demonstrate how the company’s products can help them achieve their goals
  • Be willing to travel 75% of the time



Education and Training:

  • Educate existing and potential customers on the merits and proper clinical use of company’s products by giving presentations and demonstrations, using slides, flow models, and brochures
  • Keep customers abreast of the latest products, technology developments, and current items of interest in the industry
  • Assist in professional education activities sponsored by Q’Apel Medical, including Peer meetings, hospital stroke symposia, and others
  • Assist in training new employees
  • Participate in the development of Continue Education Programs

 

Customer Service:

  • Serve as the primary resource for clinical support in the areas of procedural case coverage
  • Report and track all product incidents at centers, following company procedures and seeking input from appropriate personnel to resolve problems
  • Respond to customer needs and complaints by creating creative solutions, working in collaboration with senior management, sales, and marketing
  • Maintain open communication lines with current and prospective customers on programs, promotions, and pricing trends
  • Develop a relationship with physicians, staff, lab supervisors, and purchasing personnel



What You Bring:

 

Education:

Associate Degree in Radiology Technology

 

Experience & Skills:

  • Registered and Certified Radiology Technologist
  • 3 years’ experience as a Neuroradiology IR Tech or in a medical device company, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Sales or marketing background desired. Strong clinical, technical, and organizational skills; ability to function in a busy, demanding, and competitive environment
