About the Role:

This senior, client-focused accounting role is ideal for someone coming from a Business Advisory or Audit division in a public practice accounting firm who wants to expand into a more commercial, technology-enabled environment.

You’ll build deep relationships with clients, turn data into practical insights, and lead high-performing squads across Australia and India. This role blends hands-on delivery with strategic oversight and commercial advisory perfect for someone who enjoys client-facing work and wants to step beyond traditional compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

Client Delivery & Insights

• Ensure accurate and timely completion of all client deliverables including daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
• Leverage the Quantaco Platform to identify financial and operational improvement opportunities.
• Produce advisory-style insights in areas such as cashflow management, cost optimisation, business improvement and management reporting.

Leadership & Workflow Management

• Lead and mentor offshore (Hyderabad) teams.
• Embed strong workflow management principles ensuring “right first time” outcomes.
• Coach offshore Client Leads to support their development and ability to manage client relationships.

Platform & Technology Adoption

• Drive client adoption of the Quantaco Platform and embed insights into clients’ daily operations.
• Partner with the Executive Team on innovation, technology rollouts and strategic project delivery.

Compliance & Advisory

• Oversee monthly and quarterly compliance deliverables such as BAS, super and payroll tax.
• Partner with the Compliance Team to ensure timely delivery of year-end lodgements.
• Identify broader advisory opportunities including commercial analysis, debt advisory, financial optimisation, and operational improvement.

Client Onboarding & Cross-functional Collaboration

• Oversee seamless onboarding of new clients to the Platform.
• Partner with Customer Success, Capital, Onboarding and Technology to ensure holistic client outcomes.
• Maintain strong relationship management strategies to become a trusted advisor that clients advocate for.

About you

Your background will be from the Business Advisory division or Audit of an accounting firm—and you’re now looking for a role that is:

• More commercial
• More insight-driven
• More technology-enabled
• Still deeply client-facing

You will have:

• CA or CPA qualification
• Experience, primarily in Business Advisory / Business Services / Client Advisory / Audit within a public practice
• Strong experience delivering management reporting, advisory insights, and cashflow support to clients
• Deep technical knowledge in accounting and taxation (including direct taxes)
• Excellent time management and an ability to manage shifting deadlines and priorities
• Noteworthy customer-centric communication skills
• Experience managing or mentoring teams (onshore or offshore exposure highly regarded)
• Advanced systems aptitude and comfort working with modern technology platforms

Hospitality experience is a bonus but not required.
