Acupuncturist, Boston

GENERAL OVERVIEW:

Remedy Place is the world’s first social wellness club, redefining how people socialize through self-care. We believe feeling your best should be a shared experience, not a solitary one.

Our clubs combine evidence-based wellness therapies, self-care practices, hospitality, and beautifully designed spaces to create experiences that help people leave feeling better than when they arrived.

Every interaction matters. Every conversation shapes the guest experience. Every team member helps define our brand.

The Opportunity

As a Licensed Acupuncturist at Remedy Place Boston, you will bring skilled, thoughtful acupuncture care into an elevated social wellness environment. You will help members and guests understand how acupuncture and Chinese medicine can support their individual wellness goals while delivering a safe, professional, and deeply personalized treatment experience.

This is a hands-on clinical role with a strong hospitality component. You will take the time to listen, assess, educate, and recommend appropriate treatment plans. You will also work closely with our club team to create a seamless experience from booking and arrival through treatment, follow-up, and return visits.

You are equal parts clinician, educator, collaborator, and Remedy Place ambassador. Your goal is simple: help every guest feel genuinely cared for and better than when they arrived.

What You’ll Do

Deliver Safe, Thoughtful Acupuncture Care

  • Conduct patient intake and assessment, including review of health history, goals, relevant symptoms, contraindications, and prior treatment notes.
  • Provide initial and follow-up acupuncture treatments consistent with your Massachusetts license, training, clinical judgment, and Remedy Place protocols.
  • Use appropriate complementary modalities, such as cupping, moxibustion, auriculotherapy, and ear seeds, when within your scope of practice, training, and approved services.
  • Explain findings, treatment options, realistic expectations, and recommended follow-up in clear, accessible language without making unsupported medical claims.
  • Obtain and verify required consent before treatment; recognize when treatment should be modified, deferred, or referred to an appropriate healthcare professional.
  • Maintain strict standards for clean needle technique, infection prevention, sharps disposal, treatment-room sanitation, and patient safety.

Create an Exceptional Member and Guest Experience

  • Build trust through attentive listening, warmth, discretion, and thoughtful, individualized care.
  • Begin appointments on time, communicate clearly about the treatment experience, and help guests feel comfortable and informed.
  • Provide clinically appropriate aftercare guidance and follow-up recommendations, including ongoing treatment plans when warranted.
  • Collaborate with Remedy Specialists, the General Manager, and other providers to support smooth scheduling, handoffs, and continuity of care.
  • Help club team members understand the benefits, limitations, and appropriate positioning of acupuncture so they can confidently answer general guest questions.

Maintain Clinical, Operational, and Documentation Standards

  • Review scheduled appointments and relevant patient documentation before treatments; complete accurate, confidential records on the same day of service.
  • Prepare and maintain a clean, stocked treatment room; allow appropriate time for setup, sanitation, and turnover between guests.
  • Follow company policies, applicable Massachusetts licensing requirements, safety procedures, and patient privacy requirements.
  • Promptly report adverse events, safety concerns, guest complaints, or supply needs through established clinical and club reporting channels.
  • Participate in required training, team meetings, service education, and coaching discussions as scheduled.
  • Accurately clock in and out for all time worked, including preparation, charting, follow-up, required meetings, and other assigned duties.

Support the Growth of Acupuncture at Remedy Place

  • Educate members and guests about acupuncture and its potential role in a broader, individualized wellness routine.
  • Build lasting relationships through thoughtful care, appropriate follow-up, and consistent treatment quality.
  • Collaborate with club leadership and the broader wellness team on service awareness, programming, and member education.
  • Offer ideas that improve treatment quality, patient experience, service utilization, and operational efficiency, always putting clinical judgment and guest wellbeing first.

What Success Looks Like

  • Members and guests feel safe, heard, informed, and well cared for throughout their treatment experience.
  • Clinical records, consent, sanitation, and safety standards are consistently met.
  • Treatments begin on time, rooms are prepared, and communication with the club team is seamless.
  • Guests understand their treatment plans and return because they trust the quality and consistency of their care.
  • You actively contribute to a warm, professional, accountable, and collaborative Boston team.
