About the role
We are seeking to hire a part-time Child Care Coordinator. We are looking for a gifted leader who is passionate about children and discipleship, and who is creative and good with details. This position will oversee a program called House Church Child Care which is offered Sunday-Thursday from 6:30pm-9:00pm for children ages 0-11. Children attend House Church Child Care while their parents attend our weekly community & discipleship groups. It is not required for the Coordinator to be present every night of House Church Child Care while overseeing the program.
This position is part-time working 30 hours a week onsite in the evenings with some daytime office hours. The pay rate for this role is $23 per hour.
What you'll do
Oversee House Church Child Care Programming
- Create vision and systems to increase the quality of the Child Care program
- Develop ongoing activity schedule for Child Care, and prepare the classrooms and supplies necessary for each night of child care
- Oversee check-in and payment processes for participating families
Oversee House Church Child Care Staffing
- Create scheduling for staff
- Oversee Child Care workers via ongoing support and training
- Manage Child Care night lead staff
- Support on-call staffing needs as they arise
Report Directly to the Children's Pastor
- Meet regularly with the Children’s Pastor to report strengths and weaknesses of the ministry, to be held accountable for job responsibilities, and also to better develop personal leadership
- Attend bi-weekly staff meetings

- Must be a reliable self-starter, delegator, natural leader, and team player
- Ability to see refinements needed and activate changes
Physical Requirements
- Ability to navigate church or facility buildings, often including steps
- Frequent walking, standing, kneeling, and bending
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds for extended periods of time
