A Day in the Life:

  • Partner with healthcare clients and internal stakeholders to define, refine, and champion a product vision rooted in deep knowledge of claims processing workflows and reimbursement cycles
  • Own and evolve the product roadmap, translating complex healthcare business objectives into clear, prioritized features that deliver measurable value across the product lifecycle
  • Craft detailed user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria, ensuring development and QA teams have everything they need to build and validate with confidence
  • Drive Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives — keeping cross-functional teams aligned, focused, and moving forward
  • Serve as the go-to subject matter expert on healthcare claims, guiding teams through the nuances of medical billing, payer adjudication, and state-specific regulatory requirements
  • Analyze product usage data, client feedback, and industry trends to make informed, data-driven decisions that shape product strategy and continuously improve the platform
  • Navigate the healthcare technology landscape — including HL7, FHIR, and EDI standards — to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams
  • Lead client engagement with a consultative approach, proactively communicating strategy, priorities, tradeoffs, and progress to manage expectations at every stage
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with development, QA, design, and business teams to deliver cohesive, high-quality product experiences at scale
  • Mentor and elevate team members, fostering a culture of curiosity, accountability, and continuous improvement
