About SPC Student Price Card Ltd.

SPC is committed to providing accommodations throughout the recruitment process in accordance with applicable legislation. Are you passionate about shaping design excellence with Canada's #1 Loyalty Program for Students? We’re a dynamic, marketing and product-led company dedicated to enhancing student life by providing savings for every need. We’re seeking a talented Senior Graphic Designer with a keen eye for detail and fresh, creative ideas to help lead our design efforts and elevate our brand.

About the Role:

SPC is rebuilding its brand and social engine from the ground up. We are moving away from traditional agency-managed retainers and outdated social media management models to build a high-velocity, performance-driven content engine.

As our Creative Strategist, you will own SPC's creative direction across paid social, TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. You serve as the bridge between analytics and production—analyzing conversion performance, identifying viral hooks, and writing high-converting briefs. You will lead our creator pipeline (managing a roster of student UGC creators and micro-influencers) and direct our in-house content production to drive audience growth, app installs, and membership conversions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy, Briefing & Creative Testing Engine

  • Build and maintain a weekly and monthly creative brief cadence across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and organic social channels.
  • Own the creative testing roadmap: formulate hypotheses, test direct-response angles, evaluate hooks, and analyze performance metrics (Hook Rate, Hold Rate, CTR, CVR).
  • Translate performance data from growth marketing teams into iterative creative revisions to scale acquisition.
  • Utilize AI tools (video generation, copy iteration, variant testing) to expand asset volume and accelerate production speed.

2. Creator Operations & Community Engine

  • Build, scale, and manage SPC's roster of student and youth content creators, Gen-Z influencers, and campus brand ambassadors.
  • Oversee end-to-end creator operations: sourcing, briefing, contracting, product gifting, and whitelisting pipeline management.
  • Ensure brand integrations within creator content feel native, credible, and engaging, avoiding stiff or overly polished agency ads.

3. Production & Asset Execution

  • Work directly with internal designers, video editors, and creators to take concepts from initial ideas through final edit.
  • Where internal resources are not accessible, fill in the gaps with tools, external individauls or with your own skillset. (eg. Video editors in affordable markets)
  • Produce, edit, and remix short-form content directly when rapid turnaround is required.
  • Maintain organized creative asset libraries, standardized naming conventions, and continuous production workflows.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Experience: 3–5+ years of experience in creative strategy, short-form video production, growth marketing, or content strategy at a DTC brand, modern consumer app, or high-velocity agency.
  • Performance Acumen: Fluency in key performance metrics (Hook Rate, Hold Rate, CTR, CVR, CPA) and an understanding of what drives user conversions on mobile devices.
  • Creator Management: Demonstrated experience sourcing, briefing, scripting, and managing external creators or UGC networks at scale.
  • Production Skills: Hands-on experience editing short-form video content and using platform-native editing platforms.
  • AI & Workflow Literacy: Active adoption of modern AI creative platforms to streamline scriptwriting, visual variant generation, and research.

Why Join SPC?

  • Hybrid flexibility and access to both Toronto and Vaughan offices
  • Benefits and wellness spending accounts
  • Vacation entitlement
  • Work-from-anywhere program

  • High ownership and direct exposure to leadership
