NJ - Fabricator

Compensation: $25.00 – $32.00 per hour


Position Overview

STARK is seeking a skilled and dependable Fabricator to join our New Jersey team. In this hands-on role, you will fabricate custom rugs, support daily production operations, and help maintain STARK's high standards of craftsmanship, quality, and safety.

 

The ideal candidate has prior carpet installation or fabrication experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to producing exceptional work in a fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Rug Fabrication & Production:
    • Fabricate rugs in the shop according to STARK standards.
    • Complete assigned fabrication tasks accurately, efficiently, and with strong attention to quality.
    • Review daily production needs and priorities with the team.

 

  • Production Tracking & Documentation:
    • Log all completed tasks with accurate timestamps.
    • Maintain clear documentation of work completed to support production tracking and workflow visibility.

 

  • Safety, Tools & Equipment:
    • Use STARK-provided tools and machinery in a safe and responsible manner.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
    • Follow company safety procedures and shop standards at all times.

 

  • Team Collaboration & Daily Workflow:
    • Participate in daily meetings to review production schedules and priorities.
    • Work collaboratively with the fabrication and warehouse teams to meet production expectations.
    • Arrive on time and perform tasks in an efficient and dependable manner.

 

  • Delivery & Onsite Support:
    • Occasionally assist the STARK delivery team with product deliveries.
    • Perform onsite labor as needed to support client delivery or installation-related needs.

 

Job Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1–3 years of carpet installation, rug fabrication, or related hands-on flooring experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Must be able to get to and from the NJ Warehouse each day.
  • Ability to work safely while using tools, machinery, and shop equipment.
  • Ability to collaborate with team members and follow daily production schedules.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to complete tasks efficiently in a production environment.
