Software Engineer II

Why StrataPT

StrataPT is the billing and EMR system behind hundreds of profitable physical, occupational, and speech clinics. We’re not just building software — we’re helping physical therapy practices run smarter, grow faster, and keep more of what they earn.

Our customers span the entire United States, and our team is central to how we outperform the industry. We’re relentlessly focused on delivering results, solving real problems, and making sure our customers can count on us — every single day.

About This Role

We’re looking to add a Software Engineer II to our mighty, high-performing team. You’ll be hands-on in helping us build and evolve the internal and client-facing tools that give us a competitive edge in our space.

This role isn’t siloed. You’ll have a direct connection to the business, tight feedback loops with stakeholders, and a high degree of ownership.

We're a small team with high output, and a direct connection to the greater business. Specifically, we're looking for somebody to help us with our internal and client-facing web application development. This role will help implement new features and update existing pages across the full stack of development topics. This can include infrastructure setup in AWS through frontend Javascript. Projects can include automating business processes with and without AI tooling and services. Software development will be primarily web based using .NET 4.8. This role includes development support for escalated requests and an on-call rotation.

There’s room to grow.

We value people who think clearly, execute decisively, and take pride in results.

  • JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket, Google Workspace, AWS (EC2, ElasticBeanstalk, S3, Fsx, Bedrock, etc)

You’ll receive full training on all internal systems and play an important part in helping StrataPT scale its operations to serve more customers nationwide.

Our Culture at StrataPT

These aren’t just words on a wall. These are the standards we hire against, coach around, and hold ourselves to:

  • We solve for the customer.

We don’t just want to satisfy our customers — we want to help them succeed. We aim to make them superheroes.

  • We are remarkably transparent.

We prefer to “show, don’t tell” — both internally and externally. No jargon. No spin. No rose-colored glasses.

  • We favor autonomy & accountability.

Our team is mostly remote. Work isn’t a place we go — it’s a thing we do. We trust people to own their outcomes.

  • We believe extraordinary peers make all the difference.

We recruit, reward, and release people based on these values — not tenure or title.

  • We pursue long-term impact.

We’re not afraid to take a step backward if it lets us leap forward. We play the long game.
