We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented People Operations (HR) Intern to support day-to-day HR operations and gain hands-on experience across the employee lifecycle.
This 6 months role offers a hands-on learning opportunity to gain exposure across key areas of People Operations, including onboarding, payroll support, compliance, HR systems, and talent initiatives. You’ll build practical experience working with both data and employee processes while developing strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Generalist
· Serve as a point of contact for new hires, guiding them through pre-employment and onboarding processes
· Support employee communications, reminders, surveys, and performance check-ins
· Maintain compliance documentation, including labor law updates, training tracking, and audit preparation
· Assist with state reporting requirements (e.g., new hire reporting) and tax account management
· Liaise with state agencies (Department of Labor, Revenue, etc.) to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance
· Maintain organized documentation across systems, portals, and internal knowledge bases
· Support employer branding initiatives to enhance company visibility and attract talent
· Create and manage social media content to promote the company’s employer brand and culture
2. Payroll, Benefits & Data Accuracy
· Conduct pre-payroll audits (timesheets, PTO, commissions, bonuses) to ensure accuracy before processing
· Learn and support processes for new benefits enrollments, including assisting employees with enrollment steps and ensuring accurate system updates
3. HR Systems & Project Support
· Maintain and update HRIS (e.g., Rippling) data, workflows, and reports
· Create and update documentation, internal resources, and knowledge base pages
· Assist with cross-functional projects across HR, Finance, and Compliance
· Ensure timely follow-up, organization, and execution of ongoing initiatives
What you need to bring to this winning team
· Pursuing or recently completed a degree in HR, Business, Accounting, or related field
· Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive, confidential information
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
· Basic to intermediate computer skills and familiarity with HR systems, with a willingness to learn and develop technical skills

The hourly pay range for this role is $19.00-$24.00.
