About the role

• We are looking for an Lab Agronomy Supervisor to lead our soil analysis lab in Ribeirão Preto. This is a hands-on leadership role: you will be responsible for the technical quality of the operation and for building, training, and developing the lab team from the ground up.
  You will be the main technical point of contact for the lab  working closely with our planning team, interacting with international clients, and interfacing with regulatory bodies. What you'll do

Team leadership

• Lead, train, and develop lab technicians and assistants
• Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback and coaching
• Foster a culture of discipline, safety, and continuous improvement

Technical & quality oversight

• Oversee the full sample pre-processing workflow from intake to dispatch
• Ensure sample chain of custody in compliance with established protocols
• Implement and maintain quality routines; identify and resolve non-conformities
• Monitor operational KPIs related to quality, throughput, and turnaround time

Stakeholder interface

• Serve as the liaison between the planning team and lab floor operations
• Interact with international clients, auditors, and government inspectors
• Hold technical responsibility for the lab under CREA registration

You will stand out if you

Required

• Degree in Agronomy, Chemical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or related field
• Active CREA
• Fluent English (you will interact regularly with international clients and teams)
• Full availability for on-site work in Ribeirão Preto
• Leadership mindset with a track record of developing and managing people

Nice to have

• Prior experience in a soil or environmental analysis laboratory
• Familiarity with sample chain of custody procedures
• Experience implementing quality management routines in lab environments
