The Role

Individual Contributor needed to execute our production operations using cutting-edge CO2-based waterless technology and traditional methods. 

Key Responsibilities

Operations and Workflow

• Prioritize daily tasks to ensure optimal workflow and meet production deadlines.
• Operate specialized cleaning equipment
• Document special handling requirements and processing notes for footwear items
• Report equipment issues and supply needs promptly
• Maintain approachable demeanor while ensuring accountability

Quality Standards & Production

• Apply stringent quality standards to every stage of the cleaning process, from intake to finish.
• Conduct self-inspections and detailed quality control checks on all completed work.
• Meet daily production targets while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship and consistency.
• Manage time effectively to maximize machine utilization and minimize downtime.

Material Expertise

• Work with diverse footwear materials: leather, synthetic materials, Gore-tex, nylon, canvas, rubber, technical fabrics
• Interpret care labels and apply material-specific cleaning methods

Qualifications

Required

• Exceptional attention to detail and quality standards
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Basic cleaning expertise and techniques
• Material-specific cleaning methods knowledge
• Strong understanding of quality control standards and implementation
• Basic computer skills

• Stand 8+ hours, lift 25+ lbs regularly
• Manual dexterity for detailed cleaning work
• Physical stamina for fast-paced environment
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada

Good to Have

• Stain identification and removal expertise
• Reliable attendance and adaptability

• Clothing, bag, or Footwear care or specialized cleaning background
• Quality control or quality assurance experience
• Textile care or garment processing background

Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $16.00-$23.00/hour CAD • Overtime paid in accordance with the Alberta Employment Standards Code

Benefits: Currently under development and will be communicated prior to enrollment

Schedule: Permanent, Full-time 35-44 hrs/week • 8-hour day shifts • Monday-Friday (weekends as needed) • No nights
