TPH Academy is seeking an entrepreneurial, dynamic, and visionary leader to take the helm as the Director & Head of Hockey for our Columbus campus. This isn’t a traditional coaching gig, and it’s not a desk-bound administrative role. This is a rare opportunity for a "Swiss Army Knife" leader to own the culture, the ice, and the growth of a premier hockey academy.

The Role: The Hybrid Leader

As the Director & Head of Hockey, you are the Chief Architect of the Columbus campus. You are responsible for the holistic development of our student-athletes and the strategic success of the Academy.

You are a FOUR-in-one powerhouse:

• The Hockey Instructor: You are the "Spark." You lead the on-ice sessions, execute the TPH Athlete Development Model, and serve as the high-level technical expert that families trust.
• The Entrepreneur & Recruiter: You are the driving force behind the Academy’s growth. You don't just wait for players to show up; you are in the community, at the rinks, and on the phone, hitting enrollment targets and building a brand.
• The Culture Gatekeeper: You are the mentor. You set the tone for work ethic, discipline, and accountability, ensuring that every student-athlete is becoming an "impact player" in life.
• The Executive Administrator: You have the precision to manage a P&L, build complex schedules, oversee staff, and liaise with the TPH National team to ensure a world-class operation.

What You Will Own & Drive

1. On-Ice Excellence & Instruction Lead and oversee all hockey-related activities, from on-ice training sessions and video analysis to dynamic off-ice programming. You are the lead evaluator and the technical pulse of the campus.

2. Aggressive Recruitment & Enrollment Take "extreme ownership" of the 12-month recruiting calendar. You will identify talent, cultivate relationships with families and influencers, and ensure the Academy meets and exceeds its capacity targets.

3. Operational Leadership Manage the "business" of the Academy. This includes budget adherence, staff hiring/training, facility logistics, and maintaining a direct line of communication with the academic team to ensure student performance.

4. Strategic Culture Building Forge deep partnerships with student-athletes and their families. You aren't just running a program; you are building a community defined by TPH’s core values and a "Study-Train-Play" championship lifestyle.

Who You Are (The Must-Haves)

• The "Hockey Brain": Deep experience in competitive hockey (playing or coaching at a high level) with a passion for player development.
• Entrepreneurial Engine: A "business-owner" mindset with a proven ability (or relentless desire) to recruit, sell, and manage a P&L.
• Executive Precision: Impeccable organizational skills. You can pivot from a locker room speech to a budget spreadsheet without missing a beat.
• Visionary Mentor: A genuine passion for the "holistic" athlete. You care as much about their GPA and character as you do about their on-ice skills.
