Warehouse Associate – Pick, Pack & Ship

$22/hour · Seasonal · Brooklyn, NY (Sunset Park)

Help get thousands of creative, handmade gifts out the door this holiday season. You'll join a big, friendly team of seasonal team members at Uncommon Goods, a founding B Corp. No experience needed: we'll train you.

Schedule

• Until November 16: Monday–Friday, 10:00am–7:00pm
• Starting November 16: You'll work one of two shifts:
• • Day shift: 8:00am–3:00pm
  • Evening shift: 3:30pm–11:30pm
• Weekend shifts are required.

What you'll do

• Pick items from shelves using a handheld scanner
• Pack orders carefully so every gift arrives in great shape
• Gift bag orders when customers request it
• Label and stage packages for shipping
• Keep your work area clean, safe, and organized

What Success Looks Like

• We'll train you and help you build up to these goals:

Productivity

• Picking: 110 units per hour
• Packing: 110 units per hour
• Gift bagging: 20 units per hour
• Shipping: 250 shipments per hour

Quality

• Picking: 99.8% of shipments packed with the right items
• Packing: 99.5% of shipments arrive undamaged
• Shipping: 99.98% of shipments sent to the right place

Requirements

• Must be 18 or older
• Available to work weekends
• Available for the full schedule above, including one of the two shifts starting November 16

Preferences

• Previous warehouse experience (e.g., warehouse associate, picker/packer, inventory stocker)
• Open availability, including evenings and overtime during peak

What You'll Bring

• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
• A positive attitude and the ability to work on your own or as part of a team
• Attention to detail, because accuracy matters for every order
• Ability to keep a steady pace while staying accurate
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand or walk for up to 8 hours
