Role: Commerical Sales Representative

FLSA: Full Time / Exempt / Salaried + Commission

Remote: North Alabama


Position Overview: 
As the Sales Representative for the North Alabama region, you will be responsible for promoting and selling Warrior Precast’s products and services. This role involves developing and nurturing customer relationships, generating and following up on sales leads, and ensuring compliance with local building codes.


The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, a deep understanding of the building industry, and a commitment to representing the company professionally. 


Key Tasks and Responsibilities: 

  • Market and sell Warrior Precast products and services to prospective customers in the North Alabama region. 
  • Identify prospective customers, develop sales leads, and follow up to close sales. 
  • Inspect and approve building sites for compliance with Superior Walls of America (SWA) and local building codes before scheduling shipments. 
  • Educate customers to ensure they understand and follow the SWA builder’s manual. 
  • Represent Warrior Precast professionally at industry trade shows and events. 
  • Achieve daily prospecting goals as set by the Sales Manager. 
  • Maintain and nurture long-term customer relationships. 
  • Educate inspectors and officials for product acceptance and compliance. 
  • Utilize CAD software to read and produce blueprints as required. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 


Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, enabling effective customer interactions and clear dissemination of information. 
  • Knowledge of local building codes and the ability to learn SWA building site requirements. 
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain long-term customer relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. 
  • Ability to educate and work with inspectors and officials to achieve product acceptance and compliance. 
  • Proficiency in CAD software for reading and producing blueprints. 
  • Demonstrates resilience and adaptability under pressure, maintaining professionalism and composure in challenging situations. 
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain high ethical standards. 
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills is necessary to perform job duties efficiently. 
  • Maintains a professional appearance with good personal hygiene. 


Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Experience in identifying and developing sales leads and closing sales. 
  • Technical and relational sales skills. 
  • Valid driver’s license for non-CDL transport. 
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with proficiency in algebra and geometry. 


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Previous sales experience in building products or a related field. 
  • Technical knowledge with construction and building products.

A willingness to travel as required to accomplish duties and achieve sales goals.
