We are seeking a Medical and Clinical Affairs Scientist to manage all aspects of clinical and pre-clinical research activities end-to-end, contribute to clinical evidence for regulatory submissions, and support scientific communications, grant writing, product development, marketing and commercialisation. The successful candidate will design and oversee studies, analyse data, and present findings to clinical and non-clinical audiences. This role suits a curious, organised scientist who enjoys working with imaging datasets and collaborating with clinicians, engineers, and regulatory colleagues. PhD is welcome but not required; strong equivalent experience is valued.

Key Responsibilities

·        Plan, coordinate and execute research studies: protocol and analysis plan drafting, ethics/HREC/IRB submissions, site coordination, data collection.

·        Curate and manage medical imaging datasets: de-identification, quality control, metadata management, and secure transfer/storage.

·        Analyse data and generate clinical evidence: perform statistical analyses, develop figures/tables, and contribute to clinical evaluation and regulatory documentation

·        Communicate results: prepare technical reports, manuscripts, conference abstracts/posters, and present findings to clinicians, internal teams, and external partners.

·        Contribute across the business: support product development experiments, KOL engagement, marketing/medical affairs content, and grant applications.

 

Experience

·        Degree in biomedical engineering/science, medical physics, physiology, biostatistics, data science, or related field (PhD or MSc/BSc with relevant experience).

·        Experience running or coordinating research studies (academic, healthcare, or industry), including protocols, ethics submissions, and data collection/management.

·        Strong quantitative analysis skills and ability to interpret and communicate results to diverse audiences.

·        Demonstrated scientific writing (e.g., protocols, analysis plans, reports, manuscripts) and clear presentation skills.

·        Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and cross-functional collaboration.

·        Experience in medical imaging or radiology environments, preferably with CT and/or advanced imaging workflows (Desirable).

·        Prior experience in a similar position within the Medical Device, Pharmaceutical or related industries (Desirable).
