About the Role

The Project Controls Bootcamp at Aegis is an incredible opportunity to learn project controls from experts in the field. This full-time program equips participants with the core skills needed for a career in project controls. The Bootcamp will take up to 50 percent of the day, and the other 50 percent will be spent on client work. If you are ready for an opportunity with tremendous growth potential, join our team!

General responsibilities include:

• Review project schedules and provide recommendations based on project execution goals 
• Perform critical path analyses and identify schedule-related problems, recommend corrective actions 
• Conduct site walks for progress validation and prepare monthly reporting packages for the project site team 
• Develop metrics, KPIs, and benchmarks to support the program 
• Review the contractor’s progress and present it to management for decision-making 
• Communicate project status and challenges effectively 
• Review and evaluate contract change orders and amendments for impact on budget and schedule 

Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Commitment to learning and actively participating in the Bootcamp program
• Degree in architecture, engineering, construction, project management, or a related field or two to four years of construction experience
• Microsoft Office Suite experience preferred
