Global Wealth Client Services, Associate (IRV)

Alchelyst is seeking an Associate for our Distributor & Wealth Services Department located in Irvine. The team supports a broad range of private market products, including Private Equity, Non-Traded REIT, Business Development Company and Interval Funds and works closely with Alchelyst’s anchor client’s sales organization, transfer agents, third-party administrators, advisors, and other financial intermediaries.


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Enhance key distributor relationships by delivering consistent messaging related to operational policies and procedures to support financial advisor, back office, investor, and client’s sales inquiries ensuring service excellence. 
  • Analyze trades from transfer agents and other service providers for processing accuracy.  Identify and resolve Not in Good Order trades. This will include communicating with financial advisors, broker-dealers, and other financial institutions.
  • Review of deliverables for accuracy prior to dissemination such as client statements, dealing calendars, forms, etc. Organize and manage data files within client-supported systems . 
  • Conduct analysis to identify and resolve work processing issues while examining processes to streamline operations; escalate issues or emerging trends to management. 
  • Validate or prepare reporting for ad hoc management requests. 
  • Determine operational objectives by reviewing business functions, gathering relevant data, and providing recommendations to improve processes and controls
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and client teams such as Sales, National Accounts, Legal, and Compliance to research and respond to inquiries
  • Accurately input, update, and maintain data in client-related systems, including Salesforce Case 

 

Experience and Skills: 

  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Communications or a related field is required.  
  • Minimum of three years of experience within financial Services, including operations with exposure to trade reconciliation and customer service. 
  • Understanding of the financial service industry, with exposure to private equity, alternatives, or investment banking preferred
  • Knowledge of financial trading and clearing processes for alternative investments or mutual funds including experience working with transfer agents and/or third-party administrators preferred.
  • Motivated self-starter who thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, including the ability to resolve internal issues and exercise discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce (Cases) and Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is an added advantage


The base salary range for this position is $90,000 to $115,000. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed here.
