Arclabs is looking for a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to perform inspections for the clients we serve. The CWI is responsible for inspecting and assessing the strength and quality of welds, ensuring the correct equipment is being used, checking weld specifications, and ensuring all safety regulations are being adhered to. This position is responsible for the administrative management of the Arclabs Piedmont ATF location.

  • Reports to the Director of ATF
  • Administers weld test
  • Consulting for clients
  • Documenting and submitting results of weld test
  • Handles all administrative tasks
  • Must be willing to travel when needed (keep or remove??)

Requirements

  • Must be familiar with AWS D1.1, D1.5, D1.3, ASME Section, API 1104
  • Must have 3-5 years of welding experience
  • Proficient in both Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Current CWI certificate
