Job Summary

The Programmatic Coordinator will support the execution, maintenance, optimization, reporting, and quality assurance of ongoing programmatic media campaigns across major demand-side platforms (DSPs). This role will report directly to the Associate Director, Programmatic, and partner closely with the programmatic team to ensure campaigns are built accurately, launched on time, monitored regularly, and paced in alignment with client goals. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working hands-on in DSP platforms, with the ability to manage recurring responsibilities while supporting ad hoc projects across a range of client needs. This role is hands-on-keyboard and supports both internal team operations and client deliverables.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support hands-on-keyboard execution of programmatic campaigns across major DSPs, including campaign setup, trafficking, targeting, bidding, creative assignment, and launch
  • Prepare and maintain daily pacing reports and pacing updates to monitor campaign delivery, spend, and budget performance
  • Compile monthly performance reports, with support in pulling platform data, organizing insights, and flagging delivery issues, risks, or opportunities to the larger team in a timely manner
  • Conduct ongoing QA across programmatic campaigns to ensure accurate setup, targeting, budgets, bids, frequency controls, tracking, brand safety settings, and creative implementation. This requires very strong attention to detail!
  • Assist with audience, inventory and deal management, including PG/PMP/deal ID setup, delivery monitoring, naming conventions, and coordination with DSP and media partners to resolve setup, inventory, and reporting issues.
  • Upload and assign creatives in-platform and perform creative QA to ensure assets are implemented correctly and aligned with approved specifications
  • Support campaign builds and ongoing optimizations across programmatic platforms, including updates to bids, budgets, targeting, and delivery settings as directed
  • Pull platform data and develop screenshot decks and other support materials for internal teams and client needs
  • Participate in weekly scrums and other internal team meetings to communicate status updates, priorities, and support needs
  • Assist with ad hoc projects across the team, including reporting support, market and inventory data gathering, and other media execution tasks as assigned
  • Collaborate with internal team members to help provide out-of-office coverage and continuity of work
  • Keep informed of DSP platform changes, programmatic media trends, privacy and measurement developments, and industry best practices
  • Support larger agency and department initiatives as needed, including process improvements, documentation, and team coordination

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of relevant programmatic media experience required, including direct hands-on-keyboard experience managing campaigns in DSP platforms
  • In-platform experience with major DSPs such as The Trade Desk, Google Display & Video 360 (DV360), and/or Amazon DSP; experience with multiple DSPs is strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of programmatic campaign setup, QA, pacing, reporting, targeting, bidding, optimization, and media execution workflows
  • Familiarity with programmatic inventory types, audience targeting, brand safety, frequency management, conversion tracking, and performance measurement
  • Ability to manage multiple recurring tasks and deadlines across several clients and campaigns
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and acute attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and support shared team responsibilities
  • Demonstrate critical thinking, problem solving abilities, and a proactive approach to task management
  • AXM is a fully remote agency. The ability to be resourceful and seek solutions independently, as well as being a self-starter, is critical to success. This includes knowing when and how to ask for help when needed.
  • Ability to manage expectations, prioritize work effectively, and meet deadlines
  • Strong experience working within Google Workspace and Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel, for campaign reporting, pacing, and data organization
