Atlantic Coast Mortgage is seeking a motivated Junior Reverse Mortgage Loan Officer (RMLO) to join our growing Reverse Mortgage team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with mortgage industry experience who is looking to expand their knowledge and build a rewarding career in reverse lending.


As a Junior Reverse Mortgage Loan Officer, you will work alongside a team of experienced Reverse Loan Officers who will provide mentorship and support as you develop your expertise. You will learn how to educate borrowers, build referral relationships, and originate reverse mortgage loans while delivering an exceptional customer experience. In addition to reverse mortgage products, you will also have access to traditional mortgage loan products.


This position requires registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS), as created under the federal SAFE Act.


Job Responsibilities

  • Develop expertise in reverse mortgage products, guidelines, and lending processes through hands-on training and mentorship.
  • Assist borrowers by educating them on reverse mortgage options and guiding them through the loan process.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients while providing outstanding customer service.
  • Support the development of referral partner relationships and participate in business development activities.
  • Proactively develop and grow your pipeline through lead generation, networking and marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with experienced Reverse Loan Officers and internal teams to ensure a smooth loan experience.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies, lender guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Complete ongoing training and continuing education to stay current on industry trends and product offerings.


Qualifications

  • Experience with self-generated lead development required.
  • Reverse mortgage experience is a plus but not required.
  • Strong interest in developing a career in reverse mortgage lending.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow in a sales-focused environment.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with clients and referral partners.
  • Working knowledge of mortgage lending regulations and SAFE Act requirements preferred.
