Bad Birdie

Ecommerce Coordinator

About Us

When Bad Birdie started, we gave golfers something they’d never seen before: a bold printed polo designed to disrupt tradition and invite more people into the game. Today, we’re proud to create premium golf apparel that’s colorful, confident, and playfully rebellious, built so every player can feel good and have a hell of a good time on the course. As we grow, we’re committed to keeping that original energy alive, continuing to challenge what’s possible in golf while respecting the game and welcoming everyone to play their way. We started bold. We’re staying bad. And we’ll keep showing golfers what the game can be.

About The Role

Bad Birdie is growing fast, and the Ecommerce Coordinator is the connective tissue that keeps the whole engine running. Reporting to the Head of Ecommerce, you'll sit at the intersection of marketing execution, vendor management, and product operations, with your hands on almost every lever that drives revenue through our owned channels. One day you're drafting copy for next week's email campaign in Klaviyo. The next you're on the phone with Impact sorting out an affiliate payment. The day after that you're loading a new product drop into Shopify and QA'ing it before it goes live. No two days look the same, and that's the point.

Role Details
Reports to: Head of Ecommerce
Location: Scottsdale, AZ HQ
Schedule: Full-time, on-site

What Success Looks Like

Within the first 3 to 6 months, success looks like:

  • The weekly marketing calendar is running clean across Klaviyo, Attentive, and push, with nothing late and nothing missed
  • Email and SMS campaigns are shipping on time, in brand voice, rendering correctly, and linking where they should
  • Our email agency, affiliate agency, and influencer partners all know who to go to and get answers fast
  • Affiliates and influencers are paid accurately and on time through Impact and Upfluence
  • Product launches in Shopify are tight. Imagery, copy, and metafields are all in place before anything goes live
  • Weekly reporting across email, affiliate, and influencer channels lands with context, not just numbers
  • The ecommerce and growth teams trust the execution layer so they can focus on strategy

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Marketing Calendar and Lifecycle Execution

  • Build and maintain the weekly marketing calendar across Klaviyo (email), Attentive (SMS), and push
  • Write first drafts of email and SMS copy in the Bad Birdie voice. Not filler, real voice
  • Partner with the brand team to brief and finalize email designs
  • Manage the handoff to our email agency for segmentation, scheduling, and QA in Klaviyo
  • Build and schedule SMS campaigns in Attentive
  • Own rendering checks, link audits, and final send approvals before campaigns go out

Affiliate and Influencer Programs

  • Manage the affiliate agency relationship including product seeding, discount codes, and tracking links
  • Manage Impact to make sure affiliate partners are paid accurately and on time
  • Use Upfluence to source, seed, and pay Instagram influencers
  • Keep a running view of what's working across partners and flag what isn't

Product Setup

  • Set up new products in Shopify for each launch, including imagery, descriptions, and metafields
  • QA new launches before they go live so nothing ships broken

Reporting

  • Pull weekly revenue reporting across email, affiliate, and influencer channels
  • Flag what's tracking ahead or behind expectations, and why

What You Bring

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in ecommerce, marketing operations, or a similar coordinator role, ideally at a DTC brand
  • Hands-on experience with Klaviyo, Attentive, Shopify, Upfluence, and Impact (or comparable platforms)
  • Strong writing instincts. You can draft email and SMS copy that has a voice, not just filler
  • Highly organized with real attention to detail. Nothing slips through the cracks when you're on it
  • Comfortable being the point person with outside agencies and vendors
  • Self-starter who operates without a lot of oversight and knows when to ask questions

Bonus Points

  • Interest in golf or familiarity with the golf and lifestyle apparel space
  • Basic design comfort in Figma or Photoshop for light asset requests
  • Experience running influencer seeding at a growing brand
