Soccer Summer Camp Counselor

About the role

  • This role is focused on creating a fun, safe, and energetic environment for young athletes to develop their soccer skills, teamwork, and confidence.  Camp counselors will lead drills and activities, mentor campers, and help ensure every participant has a positive and rewarding camp experience.

Qualifications

  • Must be a current or incoming Bethel student
  • Positive attitude and ability to motivate campers
  • Team-oriented and dependable
  • Previous coaching, playing, or camp experience preferred but not required

 

Work Environment:

This role will take place at Ona Orth. Moderate noise levels. Be prepared for warm weather or rain as this is outdoors, rain or shine.

 

Physical Demands:

Ability to remain active throughout the day, including standing, walking, running, and demonstrating soccer drills

Ability to life and carry soccer equipment up to 30 pounds

Comfortable working outdoors in summer weather conditions

Ability to supervise and engage with campers in a fast-paced environment


 

Expected Hours of Work:

Work schedule is generally dependent upon your availability.

Please work out final schedule with Coach Iwaszkowiec or McGill.  Below are the camp dates:


Ages 3-4 // June 9-12, 2026 // 9-10:30 am // Co-ed Mini Day Camp

Ages 5-13 // June 9-12, 2026 // 9- noon // Co-ed Day Camp

Grades 4-10 // June 15-17, 2026 // 9 am - 3 pm // Golaco Camp (Mid-Level/Club)


Stipend based on hours worked.
