Work Environment:
Work takes place within a professional yet welcoming campus space that balances focused, quiet study zones with vibrant collaborative spaces for group projects. Our team is dedicated to maintaining a clean, friendly, and inclusive atmosphere where students feel welcome to access research tools, explore resources, and seek expert help.
Physical Demands:
Some mobility for extended periods; lifting and carrying up to 20lbs (such as book bins or stacks), and performing repetitive tasks like shelving, reaching, and bending.
Comfortable pushing loaded book carts and navigating all areas of the library to assist patrons.
Reasonable accommodations can be made to ensure people can perform the essential functions.
Expected Hours of Work:
Most student workers average between 6-12 hours of work a week but may work up to 20 hours if desired.
Shifts will be between 1-3 hours at a time
Daily assigned work will occur between 7:45 AM and 10:00 PM on weekdays and between 2:45 PM and 8:00 PM on Sundays
