About the Role

BigMarker is looking for a highly-organized Project Manager to support the facilitation of both internal and client-facing design and development projects, from simple sprints to complex, long-term programs and custom solutions.

Project Manager responsibilities include acting as a Scrum Master and working closely with our product team to prepare and coordinate comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes, and budgets. You will perform various coordinating tasks, like scheduling and risk management, maintaining project documentation, and managing communication and integration across teams. A key focus of this role involves managing custom solutions tailored to our clients, with a specific emphasis on events, e-learning, hubs, and linking comprehensive webinar programs and events.

To succeed in this role, you should have excellent time management and communication skills, as you’ll collaborate across teams to deliver results on deadlines. Ultimately, the Project Manager's duties are to help ensure that projects are completed on time, and in accordance with high-quality standards.

A successful Project Manager should bring a cross-functional toolkit, including a solid understanding of Agile methodologies (acting as Scrum Master), product design, software development lifecycle management, and product marketing, as well as strong communication skills, and the ability to quickly learn and build upon existing knowledge of the software industry.

Founded in 2010, BigMarker was a pioneer of interactive video on the web. Today, we’ve evolved into a category leader in the webinar, virtual and hybrid events space, hosting over 5 million online events per year for over 5,000 companies and organizations globally, including more than half of the Fortune 500. Our HQ is in downtown Chicago.
