Associate Product Engineer – Retail Systems

🔹 About the role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Associate Product Engineer to support the execution of product development programs for retail fixture and merchandising systems.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams across the US, China, and Mexico to ensure technical accuracy, documentation integrity, and smooth project execution throughout the product development lifecycle.


🔹 What you'll do

Product Development & Execution

  • Conduct in-store measurements and field verification
  • Support prototype tracking, testing, and validation
  • Assist in design brief preparation and cross-team alignment
  • Support field engineering activities, including site measurements, sample installations, and on-site coordination with sales teams to support customer-facing projects

Engineering Documentation & BOM

  • Support preparation and verification of BOM
  • Maintain technical documentation and version control
  • Review drawings and clarify technical details with suppliers

Quality & Compliance

  • Coordinate structural and load testing
  • Support UL certification and regulatory documentation
  • Assist in quality improvement and risk mitigation efforts

Supplier & Cross-functional Coordination

  • Follow up on prototype builds and testing
  • Coordinate with suppliers across regions (US, China, Mexico)
  • Collaborate with Product Development, Engineering, Production, and Sales teams

Project Support

  • Track project timelines and milestones
  • Prepare internal status updates and reports

🔹 Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in product engineering, mechanical design, or related fields
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes (metal fabrication, injection molding preferred)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams
