Role:

Manager, Change Management

Location:

  • Clearsulting is headquartered in Cleveland, OH, with additional offices located in Chicago, IL; Columbus, OH; and Dallas, TX. Other cities are welcome remotely.
  • Office Options: Hybrid or Remote. Team members residing within a 45 minute commuting radius of a Clearsulting office, we expect 8 days of in-person work per month, allowing flexibility choosing these days to accommodate client meetings, team syncs and individual schedules. 
  • Travel Expectations: Up to 40%


What you'll do:

  • Lead the change management strategy and execution for finance transformation initiatives spanning OCFO functional areas, including process, technology, and organizational change.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to finance and accounting leaders, translating transformation objectives into practical organizational change, stakeholder, communication, learning, and adoption plans.
  • Lead change impact assessments across processes, roles, responsibilities, organization structures, controls, data, policies, and technology, and convert findings into actionable interventions.
  • Develop stakeholder maps, sponsorship strategies, engagement plans, readiness assessments, communication plans, training strategies, and resistance management approaches.
  • Apply structured change management methods, including ADKAR and Prosci principles, while tailoring the approach to client culture, program scale, transformation risk, and the specific OCFO functional area involved.
  • Partner with finance transformation process and technology teams across the OCFO, adapting change approach to the processes, systems, and stakeholders relevant to each engagement.
  • Translate complex process and system changes into clear, executive-ready communications and practical messages for finance, accounting, and business audiences.
  • Lead workshops, leadership alignment sessions, stakeholder interviews, change champion networks, training sessions, and other adoption activities.
  • Define and track change, readiness, engagement, learning, and adoption measures, and use insights to identify risks and adjust the change approach throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Manage change-related risks, issues, dependencies, milestones, and deliverables as part of integrated project governance and status reporting.
  • Lead client workstreams and project teams, providing day-to-day direction, quality review, coaching, and development for junior team members.
  • Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities to extend value through additional finance transformation, process improvement, or change management support across other OCFO functional areas.
  • Contribute to Clearsulting methodologies, tools, proposals, statements of work, thought leadership, and internal capability development related to finance transformation and change management.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, finance, business, organizational development, human resources, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience, including significant hands-on organizational change management experience supporting finance, accounting, or enterprise transformation programs.
  • Demonstrated experience leading change management workstreams on finance transformation, accounting transformation, ERP, or digital finance initiatives spanning one or more OCFO functional areas.
  • Working knowledge of core finance and accounting processes, with the ability to quickly build depth in the specific OCFO functional area of an engagement (e.g., record to report, source to pay, order to cash, treasury, planning and performance, reporting and compliance, or advisory).
  • Proven ability to develop and execute change strategies that address stakeholder engagement, sponsorship, communications, learning, organizational readiness, resistance, and adoption.
  • Experience applying structured change management methodologies such as Prosci ADKAR or comparable frameworks.
  • Strong project management capability, including workplan ownership, milestone tracking, risk and issue management, status reporting, change impacts, and stakeholder communications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly convey complex business, process, technology, and people concepts to executive audiences.
  • Demonstrated leadership presence and the ability to influence senior stakeholders, facilitate difficult conversations, and build alignment across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience leading project teams, mentoring junior consultants, reviewing deliverables, and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Prosci Change Management certification, CCMP, or another recognized change management credential.
  • Finance management consulting or professional services experience, preferably supporting large-scale or complex transformation programs.
  • Experience with end-to-end process design or redesign and operating model transformation across one or more OCFO functional areas.
  • Experience supporting full lifecycle ERP or finance technology implementations, including requirements, solution design, testing, training, deployment, and post-go-live adoption.
  • Exposure to leading finance and accounting technology platforms (e.g., SAP, Workiva, BlackLine, Coupa, Kyriba, Pigment, OneStream, HighRadius, Sidetrade, Delinea, or similar).
  • Experience developing executive presentations, business cases, adoption dashboards, or value realization reporting.
  • Experience contributing to proposals, statements of work, account growth, or practice development initiatives.

The compensation range for this position is $120,000 - 156,000. We are committed to ensuring our offers reflect the value each candidate brings to the role. Final salary placement will be based on upon several factors, including, level of expertise, relevant work experience, technology certifications, educational background, geography and alignment with industry standards. This role is eligible for our bonus program.
