Comprehensive Prosthetics & Orthotics is hiring an ABC-Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO) for our Davenport-based outpatient clinic serving the Quad Cities region.

What You’ll Do

  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized prosthetic and orthotic treatment plans.
  • Design, fit, align, adjust, and troubleshoot prosthetic and orthotic devices to support comfort, mobility, and long-term function.
  • Perform gait analysis and functional assessments throughout the course of treatment.
  • Educate patients and caregivers regarding device use, wear schedules, rehabilitation goals, and ongoing care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation supporting continuity of care, reimbursement, and Medicare compliance.
  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with referral partners throughout the Quad Cities region.
  • Deliver care in accordance with ABC standards, applicable state regulations, payer requirements, and clinical best practices.
  • Contribute to a professional, collaborative clinic environment and provide mentorship when appropriate.

What You’ll Bring

Required

  • Current ABC certification as a Certified Prosthetist Orthotist.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain all state licensure required for the position.
  • Strong knowledge of biomechanics, anatomy, componentry, and rehabilitation principles.
  • Ability to independently manage a patient caseload and maintain timely documentation.
  • Strong communication, clinical judgment, and relationship-building skills.
  • Commitment to ethical, patient-centered care.

Preferred

  • Two or more years of clinical O&P experience.
  • Experience developing physician, therapist, or other healthcare referral relationships.
  • Clinical leadership or mentorship experience.
  • Experience working within a growing outpatient O&P practice.

Newly certified CPOs are encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary starting at $80,000 for newly certified CPOs.
  • Experienced clinicians will receive additional compensation based on experience, specialty expertise, and leadership contributions.
