We are looking for a skilled Front-End Engineer to join our rapidly expanding team; a builder and problem solver who is excited to be part of a growing Canadian start-up with very large ambitions. Being part of the Cozey tech team is more than writing code or executing against a roadmap; we want you to have a direct and meaningful impact on ideating and solving real problems for our customers through software. 

What You'll Be Doing

• Design and build customer-facing features in React/Next.js for 1M+ monthly visitors
• Own the marketing and analytics integration layer (pixels, GTM, Klaviyo) to support tracking at scale
• Lead technical decisions on frontend architecture, performance, and code quality
• Mentor junior and intermediate developers through code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing
• Break down complex features into clear, scoped tasks and own delivery end to end
• Collaborate cross-functionally with design, product, and marketing to shape requirements
• Champion best practices: testing, accessibility, CI/CD, and documentation
• Improve, and manage site speed performance

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years building production React applications, with strong opinions on state management, component architecture, and performance
• Track record of shipping pixel-perfect, responsive UIs across mobile and desktop
• Experience with Next JS, Shopify, Shopify Headless, Klaviyo, Typescript (or HTML or email development)
• Experience leading or mentoring other developers
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to explain technical tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders
• Comfortable working autonomously: scoping problems, proposing solutions, and driving them to completion
• Familiarity with headless CMS architecture (Sanity, Contentful, or similar)
