Position Overview

Eurasia Group is seeking an impeccably organized Executive Assistant in the Office of the President to provide office and administrative support for the principal and team. This is a role for someone who takes genuine pride in operations: you'll help run a fast-moving calendar of global travel, media, and speaking engagements, and your judgment and precision will directly augment the principal’s impact. The ideal candidate will have a background in managing executive scheduling and travel logistics within a team setting, exercises discretion instinctively, and finds satisfaction in making an intricate operation run seamlessly. This role is based in Eurasia Group’s New York office.

 Responsibilities:

  • You’ll work daily with the President’s Chief of Staff and Director of Programming to support all aspects of the principal’s daily work routine, with exposure to speaking engagement logistics, relationship management, and full operations of a principal with a global platform.
  • Maintain the calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, speaking engagements, and travel arrangements. Exercise discretion in committing time and evaluating needs.
  • Coordinate complex travel arrangements (both domestic and international) and visa procurement as needed.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Office of the President and teams across Eurasia Group to coordinate the work of different groups and provide administrative support for meetings as needed
  • Prepare, reconcile, and submit corporate expense reports
  • Provide day-to-day office support for principal and team including mailing, printing, and errands
  • Oversee professional correspondence for principal, screening and responding quickly to business-related mail, phone calls and emails and sorting any personal mail for household manager.
  • Other additional and /or alternative duties as assigned from time to time, including supporting other departments or company executives as needed

Requirements:

  • Ability to prioritize projects as needed and exercise considerable judgment and discretion in completing assignments.
  • Highly effective communication skills to efficiently work situations toward decisions. Clear written communication and reliable follow-through are key to this role given pace of principal travel.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work effectively in an office setting. Ability to maintain workflow processes while adapting to new, time sensitive issues is critical for this position.
  • Strong proficiency in data entry and information management across various platforms with attention to detail, consistency in recording and updating information are essential skills.
  • Familiarity with Brex preferred
  • Ability to lift and transport light loads and deliveries
  •  When the principal is traveling, the pace picks up — flexibility outside standard hours is part of the rhythm of this role, and the right candidate finds that energizing rather than draining.
  • All applicants must be eligible to work in the United States. Proximity to mid and lower Manhattan is a plus.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $70,000 to $78,000.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
