PL Assembler

About the role

Heads Up Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated PL Bonding Technician to seal and secure inserts and end caps to PL tracks. This role uses UV equipment to cure adhesive and works closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure products meet customer, regulatory, and company quality standards.

Key Details

Workdays and Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with an unpaid 30-minute lunch.

Location: Addison, Texas, onsite.

Work Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the United States.

What you'll do

Production and Inspection

·    Seal end caps to PL tracks.

·    Use UV heads to cure adhesive applied to end caps.

·    Install labels as required.

·    Inspect completed work for foreign objects or debris (FOD) and fingerprints.

·    Perform dunk testing to identify leaks or other impurities.

·    Record completion and sign off in the database for traceability.

Collaboration and Continuous Improvement

·    Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and production teams.

·    Support continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.

Safety and Compliance

·    Follow all company safety procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.

·    Maintain a safe, organized, and FOD-controlled work environment.

·    Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

·    High school diploma or equivalent.

·    Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and assembly instructions.

·    Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and process improvement.

·    Effective verbal and written communication skills.

·    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

·    Basic computer skills for data entry, reporting, and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

·    Knowledge of AS9100 quality management standards.

·    Familiarity with UV-cured adhesives and UV curing equipment.
