About the role

Content is the fuel for everything Revenue Marketing does: it drives SEO/GEO, arms Product Marketing's launches and competitive positioning, and gives sales the stories they need in complex enterprise deals. Your job is to own that fuel supply - the calendar, the quality bar, and the voice - across blogs, webpages, whitepapers, guides, and enablement content.

You won't be starting from a blank page. Our GTM engineering team is building an AI-assisted content pipeline that turns GTM briefs, PRDs, win/loss notes, and customer interviews into first-draft content. Your job is not to build that system, it's to shape what “good” means at every step of it, edit and direct its output, and write and rewrite by hand wherever judgment, voice, or accuracy matter most. Think of yourself as the editor-in-chief of a content operation that happens to have an AI production line, not as someone replaced by one.

Why this role

You get to define voice and tone for a technical brand selling into regulated industries, with real infrastructure behind you from day one instead of a blank calendar and a stretched budget. You'll work closely with Product Marketing and Demand Generation, and directly with the Director of Revenue Marketing, on a team where content's impact on pipeline is tracked and taken seriously, not treated as a side project other functions squeeze in when they have time.

What you'll do

  • Create and own the content roadmap and editorial quality across marketing, spanning blogs, whitepapers and guides, case studies, website and landing page copy, webinar and event messaging, speaking abstracts and submissions, customer stories, sales enablement content, and other high-value content across the buyer journey.
  • Proactively identify content opportunities across the buyer journey using performance data, search/SEO/GEO insights, market intelligence, customer and sales insights, and more to determine what should be created, refreshed, repurposed, and retired.
  • Own and report on content performance and continuous optimization across organic traffic, SEO/GEO rankings, and content-assisted pipeline. Use performance data to determine what to scale, improve, or stop, and continuously evolve the content roadmap based on what’s actually working.
  • Execute against SEO and AEO/GEO strategies in partnership with those dedicated specialists, translating search, audience and AI-visibility insights into high-quality content that performs in both traditional and AI-driven discovery.
  • Use AI as a core part of the content lifecycle while maintaining human ownership of editorial judgement, accuracy, differentiation, and brand voice
  • Use AI-assisted marketing intelligence to proactively identify emerging buyer questions, regulatory or market developments, competitive themes, search opportunities and gaps – then apply editorial and business judgement to determine which warrant action.
  • Partner with GTM engineering to shape and continuously improve the AI-assisted content pipeline, define what good output looks like at each stage, review and edit drafts, and feed structured feedback back into the system
  • Write and edit content end-to-end where it matters most: launch narratives, competitive-facing content, and anything with a customer's name attached
  • Partner with Product Marketing to develop messaging and positioning into finished, publishable assets across formats
  • Own voice, tone, and editorial standards for a technical brand selling to skeptical, regulated-industry buyers - nothing ships that reads as generic AI output

What good looks like in year one

  • Content output and velocity increase substantially without a proportional increase in headcount, because the AI-assisted pipeline is genuinely working
  • Quality and brand voice hold steady or improve as volume scales - nothing publishes that reads as generic or off-brand
  • Organic traffic and SEO/GEO visibility show measurable, trackable growth
  • Sales and Product Marketing trust content assets enough to use them with minimal rework
  • Editorial review is fast enough that it's an accelerant to the AI-assisted pipeline, not a bottleneck

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years in content marketing, editorial, or writing roles in B2B SaaS; technical or complex products a plus
  • A demonstrable point of view on voice and tone - writing samples required
  • Comfortable directing and editing AI-generated drafts to a fully reviewed, publishable standard: giving structured feedback, catching factual or tonal misses, and knowing when something needs a full rewrite versus a light edit. You take ownership of the finished product rather than relying on cross-functional partners to turn AI-generated drafts into finished content.
  • Genuinely comfortable working inside an AI-assisted workflow daily - you don't need to build these systems yourself, but you need to want to work this way, not tolerate it
  • SEO/GEO fluency: understands what makes content rank and get cited, not just what makes it well-written
  • Strong prioritization instincts - comfortable being pulled between Demand Gen and Product Marketing needs and making sound calls on sequencing
  • Experience translating technical or complex subject matter for a business audience

What this role is not

  • This is not a role for someone who wants to build the AI/automation systems themselves - that's owned by GTM engineering
  • This is not a generalist marketing role - the mandate is content strategy, editorial quality and performance, and AI-enabled content operations, not ownership of campaign strategy, brand, paid media, or marketing operations.

What we offer

  • Competitive compensation and benefits.
  • Flexible work environment.
  • The opportunity to build and shape a premium support function with measurable customer impact.
  • A collaborative culture with close partnership across Support, Engineering, Product, and Customer Success.
  • Professional growth within a scaling SaaS organization.
