Role Overview

The Business Systems Analyst I (BSA I) is an entry-level to early-career role designed to build a strong foundation in healthcare software, technology integrations, and agile product development. The BSA I supports senior analysts and product teams by documenting requirements, assisting with analysis, and learning the full software development lifecycle within a regulated healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

·         Assist with gathering and documenting business and system requirements

·         Support user stories, workflows, and process documentation

·         Participate in sprint ceremonies and stakeholder meetings

·         Maintain accurate documentation in Jira, Confluence, or similar tools

·         Support testing and UAT activities

·         Collaborate with Product, Engineering, QA, and Customer Success teams

·         Learn healthcare data and integration concepts (FHIR, HL7) under guidance

Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience)

·         0–3 years of relevant experience or internships

·         Basic understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies

·         Strong documentation and communication skills

  • Hybrid role in Columbus, OH (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)
  • Relocation assistance is NOT available for this role.
  • The essential functions of the job are usually performed in an office setting, in an indoor, temperature controlled environment.
