Role Overview

Core Hydraulics is urgently seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Manual Machinist (English/Spanish) for our facility in Northwest Houston, TX. This is a day-shift role requiring hands-on industrial expertise in producing high-precision internal and external threads on manual machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Setup and operate industrial-grade manual lathes (such as the GMC GML-1440HD Metal Lathe or equivalent).
• Machine high-precision internal and external threads for hydraulic components and heavy equipment parts.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders with strict adherence to safety specifications.
• Communicate effectively across the shop floor in both English and Spanish to ensure team safety and operational clarity.

Key Requirements

• Experience: 3–5+ years of hands-on experience as a manual machinist in an industrial or heavy machinery setting (hydraulic component experience preferred).
• Technical Skills: Recent, proven expertise in setting up and producing precise internal and external threads.
• Equipment Proficiency: Recent experience operating manual metal lathes.
• Bilingual Fluency: Fluent in both English and Spanish (required for critical safety and technical communications).
• Location & On-Site Requirement: Ability to reliably commute to Northwest Houston, TX for full-time, in-person day shifts.
