Position Description

The House Manager is the senior on-site staff member at KEB, Jubilee's new workforce housing program for returning citizens, and the operational anchor of its 18-person residential program. This is a live-on position: the Manager resides in the building (in a separate staff unit with private quarters, bath, kitchen, and living area), provides scheduled day coverage, and serves as the primary on-call contact for serious incidents outside of scheduled monitor shifts. The Manager supervises House Monitors, maintains the safety and integrity of the residential environment, and coordinates daily operations with clinical and program staff.

The House Manager sets the tone for everything that happens in the building. This is not just a supervisory or administrative role -- it is a culture-setting role. The right person leads by example: modeling the warmth, consistency, and high expectations they want to see from monitors and residents alike. They understand that how the building feels day to day-- whether residents experience it as a place of genuine support or just a place to sleep. They are as comfortable having a hard conversation with a resident as they are coaching a House Monitor through one.

As a founding team member, the House Manager helps establish the house norms, operational protocols, and team practices the program will run on. The right candidate is a steady presence who residents trust, a practical supervisor who monitors can count on, and a collaborative partner to clinical and workforce development staff. The live-on arrangement reflects the nature of a 24/7 residential reentry program; the Manager's on-call role is distinct from scheduled shift coverage, which is maintained by the monitor team.

This position has been designated by the hiring department to require a background check and drug screening as a pre-employment condition.
