Mail Center Associate


Are you naturally organized? Do you take satisfaction in getting the details right, keeping things moving, and being the person others can count on to make sure nothing falls through the cracks? Berwyn is seeking detail-oriented and reliable individuals to join our Operations team as a Mail Ops Assistant. This is an entry-level position designed for individuals who are eager to build strong organizational and operational skills in a fast-paced environment. Previous mail room or shipping experience is not required. We provide training and support to help you succeed.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Processing and distributing incoming mail
  • Monitoring shipping and mailing supply levels
  • Filing documents
  • Assisting with outbound mail as needed
  • Other projects as assigned

Required Skills

  • Detail-oriented and able to comprehend and interpret basic information
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well independently as well as with a team
  • Demonstrated time management skills
  • Works well under tight time constraints
  • Experience using Microsoft Office
  • Adaptability as well as the aptitude and desire to learn

Preferred Consideration Given For

  • Associates or bachelor's degree in business or a similar focus (or equivalent work experience)
  • 1-plus years' experience in a mail room/shipping environment


This is an in-office position, requiring on-site attendance five days per week in Fort Washington, PA.

The base pay range for this role is $20.67-$22.12/hour.  Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
