**Must have availability (at least two of the days) Friday, Saturday, Sunday with availability on Sunday (AM/PM) preferred.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Support bar and restaurant operations by executing functions in accordance with MadTree Alcove standards, guest expectations, and event specifications.
● Responsible for setup and clean-up of the bar area.
● Beverage service and housekeeping throughout shifts.
● Food preparation for cocktail garnishes as needed.
● Monitor and stock all supplies and product inventory behind the bar.
● Monitor guests’ alcohol consumption to ensure a safe experience.
● Dependable attendance and punctuality.
● Serve as a consultant to guests to educate and help them select beverages.
● Work as a team player to ensure each customer receives the best service possible and contribute to a goal of 100% customer satisfaction.
● Help with service not limited to, polishing glassware and silverware, running food, bussing tables, and keeping the restaurant clean as needed.
● Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
● Experience in a high-volume bar and/or restaurant is strongly preferred.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
● Elevated knowledge of craft beer, wine, and spirits; familiarity with standard drink recipes.
● Comfort with working independently, multitasking, and maintaining efficiency and productivity with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
IMPORTANT SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates, including holidays and extended hours.
● Ability to count and accurately make change involving large sums of money.
● Ability to use a calculator and technology aptitude for working with POS and digital register.
● Effective and frequent communication with manager and support staff, regardless of department or shift.
● Professional appearance and demeanor.
● Must be a people person.
● Attention to detail, ability to work unsupervised while maintaining safety and quality standards, and confidence to speak up and act when safety and quality are compromised.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
● Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and climb.
● Ability to frequently talk, hear, and smell.
● Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.
● Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.
