Melvin Mills Roofing, LLC, is a 2nd-generation family-owned roofing business that proudly serves the Southeast Missouri area, with headquarters in Fredericktown, MO.

In the mid-1980s, our founder and namesake, Melvin, started offering roofing, siding, carpentry, and general handyman services under the name Melvin Mills Construction. As Melvin’s reputation for great customer service and quality work grew over the years, so did the demand for his services.

In 2008, Melvin’s youngest son, Craig, became a full partner in the business, and we began to narrow our scope of work to focus on building a true residential roofing company. We changed our name to Melvin Mills Roofing, LLC, to signal our commitment to providing outstanding roofing services with the highest level of specialized training and expertise.

Title: Yard/Warehouse Laborer

Department:  Yard/Warehouse 

Location:  Fredericktown Office

Employment type:  Full-time / Hourly

Pay:  $16-18/hour

Reports to:  Yard/Warehouse Manager

Responsible for:  Self / Yard

OVERVIEW:

Main Purpose: Assisting day-to-day Yard/Warehouse operations where needed.

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

• Inventory maintenance 
• Fleet maintenance
• Load/Unload & Stage material
• Organize & clean equipment & tools
• Transport materials or equipment

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience:  Drive pick-up truck/trailer preferred

Education:  N/A

Physical Demands:  Ability to lift up to 85 lbs. and climb a ladder

Work Environment:  Outdoors / Office / Job Site
