  Motown Museum is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to one of Detroit's most iconic cultural institutions while gaining broad Human Resources experience in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.
  
  As a key member of the Human Resources team, you will help support the employee experience from recruitment and onboarding through employee engagement, benefits administration, training, and compliance. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys variety, values meaningful work, and is eager to grow their career while supporting a world-renowned organization.
  
  
  

What you'll do

• • Support recruitment efforts by coordinating job postings, interviews, candidate communications, and onboarding activities.
  • Help create a welcoming and engaging onboarding experience for new employees.
  • Serve as a resource to employees regarding HR programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist with benefits administration and leave management processes.
  • Maintain employee records and HR systems with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Coordinate employee training, recognition, and engagement initiatives.
  • Support compliance efforts and HR projects that contribute to organizational success.
  • Partner with leadership and employees to help foster a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of Human Resources, administrative, or related experience.
  • Experience supporting multiple HR functions is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and HRIS systems.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Compensation: $27.88 per hour
