Mytra

Product Operations Manager

About Mytra

We’re creating an entirely new way to solve the most ubiquitous problem in industry - moving and storing material. We’re applying robotics and distributed software to create a new class of product for this $1T market. We’re focused on the supply chain industry first. The industry is in a massive bind with the continued growth of e-commerce, sharp rise in costs, and supply chain disruptions. What has been a “sleepy” industry for decades is now at the epicenter of sustaining the global economy.

About the role

As a Product Operations Manager at Mytra, you'll join our Product team at a moment of scaling. Mytra is growing faster than our internal operating system can keep up with: work lives in silos, decisions are often made verbally with no paper trail, there's no single source of truth for what's happening across the company, no reliable process layer from sales through deployment, and no consistent operational documentation for the field.

This is an individual-contributor role for a builder who creates the connective tissue that lets a fast-moving robotics company scale without losing the thread. You'll sit inside Product but serve horizontally across the company. You are not an internal-tools software engineer. You're an operator who uses AI-native tools to make our internal systems, processes, and information flow simple, fast, and reliable, turning "how we work" from tribal knowledge into infrastructure.

What you'll do:

  • Build and own Mytra's internal operating system: the information architecture and AI-assisted workflows that unify what today lives scattered across Slack, Notion, and Linear, so leaders can see what changed, what's at risk, and what's next, and dependencies get surfaced before they become fire drills.
  • Own the operational process layer from sales through deployment: turn verbal handoffs into written, repeatable process, and make sure decisions, customer changes, and new requirements reach everyone they touch.
  • Act as the cross-functional translator between commercial, product, engineering, and operations
  • Set lightweight documentation and communication norms (and the incentives to make them stick), then build or configure the tooling on top, codifying best practices as you scale the Product Operations function.

Ideal Candidates:

  • Have proven experience in Product Operations, Program/Product Management, BizOps, or a Chief-of-Staff-style role at a scaling company, ideally one building physical products or hardware + software.
  • Ship your own tools. You use agentic AI tools daily and have gone 0-to-1 on your own workflows and automations and/or internal tools others rely on, turning messy manual processes into systems that hold up.
  • Communicate with clarity and influence without authority, driving adoption across teams that don't report to them.
  • Are high-agency and entrepreneurial: ship a v1 fast, iterate to quality, and are comfortable defining a role that doesn't fully exist yet.
  • Know how to find the line between chaos and bureaucracy: enough process to leave a paper trail, never so much that it slows the company down.

Nice to have:

  • Fluency with the tools our teams run on today (Slack, Notion, Linear) and a point of view on how they should fit together.
  • Experience standing up feedback, launch/beta, or documentation systems from scratch.
  • Comfort with data (SQL, spreadsheets) for wiring systems together and turning inputs into insight.
  • Experience in hardware product development processes. Familiarity with the flow of information from CAD to PLM, ERP and MES systems.

A Final Note:

If this role excites you, we encourage you to apply, even if you don't check every box. At Mytra, we build bots, but we hire humans. We value thoughtful challengers who communicate with clarity and respect, and we're lifelong learners committed to getting better every day. We move fast, learn faster, and show up for each other under pressure. The best outcomes come from diverse perspectives working together to build something meaningful and built to last.

  • Fully subsidized health coverage, including medical (baseline plans), dental, and vision for employees and dependents
