Product Team

This is a hybrid role and requires presence in our Denver Office twice a week (Local Candidates Only).

The Opportunity

OrthoFi is looking for a Senior Product Manager to own eligibility automation and financial accuracy within our Insurance Revenue Cycle Management domain, one of the most critical product areas in our business. Working directly under our Sr. Director of Product, Insurance, you will help shape and drive the strategy for how OrthoFi verifies patient benefits accurately, automates manual verification workflows, and builds the data feedback loops that make our insurance products smarter over time. Insurance benefit accuracy shapes how much revenue a practice realizes, how much patients owe at the point of care, and how confidently our operations team can support thousands of practices at scale. This is a role for someone who is energized by operationally complex problems, comfortable working deep in healthcare data, and driven to build systems that replace manual effort or rules-based systems with reliable, scalable automation powered by AI.

The Role
Insurance Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) is one of the most data-intensive and operationally consequential product domains in healthcare technology. At OrthoFi, it sits at the intersection of insurance payer complexity, practice operations, and the patient financial experience. When it works well, patients understand what they owe before treatment starts, practices get paid accurately and efficiently, and OrthoFi's operations team can support thousands of practices at scale. When it does not, the downstream effects compound quickly across the entire revenue cycle.

The Sr. PM, RCM drives the product strategy and execution for eligibility and financial accuracy. Working closely with the Sr. Director of Product, Insurance, this person will help rethink and transform how OrthoFi approaches its insurance workflows with an AI-first lens. The data advantages OrthoFi has built over years of operating at scale create real opportunities to make the revenue cycle smarter, more accurate, and automated over time. This role spans from strategy through discovery, delivery, and go-to-market coordination with operations. You will own the outcome, not just the roadmap.

What You Will Do

  • Drive strategy and roadmap: Own the product strategy and roadmap for insurance eligibility and benefit accuracy, with clear outcome targets tied to accuracy rates, automation coverage, and revenue realization
  • Lead product discovery and delivery: Conduct quantitative and qualitative research, payer analysis, and stakeholder interviews to identify opportunities and validate assumptions with a particular focus on where intelligent automation creates the most leverage across the eligibility workflow, from scoping through delivery
  • Champion AI-first transformation: Work with data and analytics teams to model payer behavior, evaluate benefit accuracy trends, and drive the AI-powered approaches that make OrthoFi's insurance products smarter and more accurate over time
  • Partner cross-functionally: Work closely with RCM Operations, Engineering, Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing to understand where processes break down, align on priorities, and ensure product decisions reflect the full picture of how practices experience the revenue cycle
  • Drive go-to-market execution: Partner with Marketing, Customer Success, and Operations to ensure new capabilities land well, with clear positioning, adoption plans, and support readiness
  • Collaborate across the product organization: Partner with PMs across the Insurance domain and adjacent areas including Practice Growth and Payments to ensure decisions made in one domain account for their downstream and upstream effects on others
  • Manage and triage production support: Stay close to production issues in your domain, triage effectively, and use support patterns as a signal for where the product needs to improve systematically
  • Define and track outcomes: Set KPIs and OKRs with enough rigor to articulate what is working, what is not, and what you would do differently
  • Stay current: Continuously develop your knowledge of RCM, payer trends, and AI advancements to identify opportunities before they become obvious

The AI Opportunity

OrthoFi's position across thousands of practices and years of insurance workflow data creates a structural advantage in this domain. Payer behavior patterns, benefit verification outcomes, and claims history represent exactly the kind of data where intelligent approaches can surface what rules-based systems miss. The Sr. PM, RCM will be close to that work from day one, helping identify where AI creates genuine leverage, thinking clearly about how to sequence it, and partnering with engineering and data teams to bring it into the product in a way that is grounded and measurable. This is early enough that the right person helps shape what it becomes.

What You Will Bring

  • Product experience: 6+ years of product management experience with demonstrated ownership of a complex, data-intensive domain, with a track record of moving business outcomes and defining success in results rather than features delivered
  • Domain experience: Direct experience in healthcare RCM, dental or orthodontic software, or a similarly regulated, data-rich environment where product decisions carry direct financial and operational consequences is a strong advantage. Candidates with deep product craft and relevant adjacent experience such as healthtech, fintech, insurance technology, or similarly complex B2B SaaS are encouraged to apply
  • Data fluency: Comfort working with structured, complex data as both an analytical input and a product design constraint. Experience in healthcare data environments such as payer files, eligibility data, claims, or similar is a plus
  • AI fluency: An understanding of when probabilistic approaches create leverage over deterministic logic, and experience or a clear framework for writing requirements for features that depend on models rather than rules is a plus
  • Full-lifecycle ownership: You drive problems from discovery through delivery, go-to-market, and outcome measurement. You stay engaged through engineering delivery, coordinate with operations on rollout, and define success in business terms
  • Cross-functional operating style: Able to earn trust with Operations SMEs, work closely with Engineering, and represent your domain independently with senior stakeholders without needing a manager in the room
  • Clear, direct communication: Able to translate complex payer and insurance concepts for non-technical audiences and translate business problems into precise product requirements for Engineering

What’s in it for you:

  • Full medical, dental, and vision plans
  • Flexible PTO
  • Employer HSA contribution
  • 9 Company Paid holidays
  • 401(k) match, 3% after 90 days of employment
  • Supportive culture with one-of-a-kind growth opportunities
  • Hybrid in-office and work at home (2 days in-office Tuesdays and Thursdays)
  • Paid Parental Leave as well as a two-week "ease-back" program that enables parents to return part-time at full pay
  • Company and team outings
  • Peer-to-peer recognition program
  • Vendor discounts
