About The Position

The Service Operations team is responsible for the essential functions of growing, nurturing, and managing a network of professional Service Providers and coordinating the daily flow of claims and work orders. The Vendor Relations Specialist is a relationships expert who can quickly identify others’ values and create interpersonal and business connections that grow over time. This person will be business-minded and hungry to learn, display a growth-mindset, enjoy “networking,” and embody integrity and gratitude to forward the Pest Share brand. The ideal candidate is excited by the challenges, commitments, and opportunities characteristic of a start-up or scaling business environment and thrive in a collaborative remote team environment. This is not a sales position; however consultative sales experience is highly valuable.


Key Responsibilities

  • Vendor sourcing - from “cold calling” to strategic networking
  • Converting out of network providers to in-network Pest Share enthusiasts
  • Vendor enrollment and onboarding support
  • Vendor retention
  • Monitoring health of B2B relationships - compliance with service and pricing expectations, customer satisfaction, insurance and legal compliances, and overall quality of partnership
  • Monitoring and responding to inquiries and issues
  • Database management
  • Training support
  • Reporting trends and consulting on best practices
  • Processing claims & generating work orders (backup)
  • Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned as the team responds to business needs and as the position develops
  • Technical support for the vendor portal.
  • Key metrics - charge rate and resolution time on escalations. 

 

Qualifications

  • 5-7+ years of consultative sales experience or equivalent education (strongly preferred)
  • 2+ years of customer service experience (required)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (required)
  • Comfortable working with multiple technical platforms and systems, including experience as a user with CRM’s, database management, and distance communication and collaboration tools (required)
  • Ability to work remotely with a high-speed internet with at least 50 Mbps download speed and 10 Mbps upload speed (required)
  • Ability to work in a team environment across multiple departments with a high-level of independence, communication, and transparency (required)
  • Experience in the pest control services industry (strongly preferred)
  • 1+ years of experience with HubSpot (preferred)
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace and Microsoft Suite (preferred)
