We build Salesforce-native software for financial advisors, and we do it as a small, remote-first team that genuinely likes working together. We're under 100 people across the US and Australia, so you won't get lost in a sea of org charts. What you see is what you get here. We come together twice a year in Chicago for our summits, where the work gets real and the connection gets realer. The rest of the time, we're remote in the truest sense, which means your work fits your life, not the other way around.

The Opportunity (What This Role Really Means)

Our clients are wealth management professionals who count on Practifi to run their firms. The Training Consultant is the person who makes sure they actually know how to use what they're paying for, and feel confident doing it. You're the face of Practifi during live and virtual training, the advisor in the room when a firm is trying to get more out of the platform, and the voice that turns a complicated feature into something that just clicks.

This role sits on our Learning team and works closely with strategic client accounts, including teams like Provenance and Dynasty. When you do this well, adoption goes up, clients stay, and advisors get time back to do what they do best. That's the whole point.

Your Day-to-Day (The Honest Version)

The Core Work

  • Running engaging webinars and workshops built around real wealth management use cases, not generic click-throughs
  • Hosting monthly Power Sessions on the advanced stuff (AI features, Services & Deals, integrations) that clients are hungry to learn
  • Traveling to strategic clients about once a month for onsite, train-the-trainer sessions and the kind of relationship building that only happens in person
  • Acting as a trusted advisor during engagements, spotting adoption gaps, and giving honest, useful recommendations
  • Keeping the training calendar humming with a 95% on-time delivery rate

The Reality Check

Client-facing training is dynamic, and sometimes a little chaotic. Plans change, sessions shift, and a participant will absolutely ask you the one thing you didn't prep for. You'll thrive here if you stay calm, stay curious, and roll with it. You won't be doing it alone. Your Practibuddy is there from day one, and the wider Learning team, along with our Technical Writer, LX Designer, CSMs, and Technical Consultants, problem-solves together constantly. Nobody expects you to know our platform cold on week one. We expect you to learn fast and ask good questions.

What We're Really Looking For

The Must-Haves

  • 5+ years of relevant training experience, ideally in software or technology. If your software training is lighter but you've got 7 to 10 years of strong face-to-face training or teaching behind you, we want to talk
  • Comfort and confidence leading live and virtual sessions, and the stamina to be engaging and present for extended stretches
  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills, with a real talent for making complex things feel simple
  • Willingness and ability to travel to clients about once a month
  • A Salesforce Trailhead certification, or the drive to earn one early (this is part of how you'll grow into platform mastery)

The Nice-to-Haves

  • Familiarity with Salesforce or Salesforce-native tools
  • Background in instructional design, adult learning, or formal education
  • Experience in wealth management, fintech, or financial services, and fluency in the language advisors use (AUM, households, productivity)
  • Prior remote work experience and the self-discipline that makes it work

Ready to Join Our Community?

You'll report to our Senior Director, Learning, and collaborate daily with CSMs, Implementation, Technical Consultants, Sales, and our Technical Writer. This is a remote-first, US-based role. We're open to candidates across the country, with a preference for Central and Midwest time zones to make client travel smoother. We expect roughly monthly travel to strategic clients, plus our two Chicago summits a year. We're ready to welcome the right person soon, so don't sit on this one.
