About the role

We're looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager to join our HR leadership team and play a key role as we build out our recruiting function. You'll work closely as a trusted thought partner to the Director of Talent Acquisition as we:

•       Shape our TA strategy

•       Map and document our recruiting processes

•       Develop & grow our TA team and its expertise

•       Ingrain TA best practices from position management through to new employee Day 1

•       Evolve our organizational skillset for consultative interviewing and candidate experience

•       Build out specialized recruitment programs, e.g., University, Military, etc.

•       Refine our high-volume recruitment experience

What you'll do

TA Functional Strategy

•       Assist the Director of TA in developing the overall Talent Acquisition strategy, helping research best practices, benchmark against industry peers, and assemble supporting data

•       Help establish and track key TA metrics, supporting the creation of dashboards and regular reporting cadences

•       Contribute ideas and feedback as the team's sourcing philosophy, hiring channels, and employer branding priorities take shape

Process Mapping & Documentation

•       Help map the current-state recruiting lifecycle — requisition intake, sourcing, screening, interview loops, offer, and onboarding handoff — identifying opportunities to resolve inconsistencies as well as inefficiencies

•       Assist in documenting standard operating procedures (SOPs), playbooks, and workflow guides for each stage of the hiring process

•       Support the setup and maintenance of ATS workflows, requisition templates, and approval processes

Facilitation of Team Growth

•       Serve as the team SME for the onboarding and training of new TA team members, ramping up on tools, processes, and expectations

•       Act as the team lead for the inventory and organization of TA resources, training materials, templates, and knowledge-sharing as the team grows

•       Provide day-to-day support that frees up senior recruiters and leadership to focus on strategic priorities

Candidate Experience Champion

•       Partner in the design and delivery of a high-touch, positive candidate experience — from system communications and interview process through to offer and onboarding handoff

•       Assist in creation and implementation of candidate feedback surveys

•       Lead the summarization of survey results, identifying opportunities for experience evolution

•       Ensure candidates receive timely, consistent, and personalized communication throughout the process

Cross-HR Process Support

•       Partner with HRBPs, People Ops, Compensation, and Onboarding teams to help ensure smooth handoffs between recruiting and other key stakeholders in the employee lifecycle

•       Help identify friction points, duplicated work, and opportunities for improvement between TA and adjacent HR processes

•       Assist in keeping shared tools and data consistent across HR systems

What We're Looking For

•       7+ years of experience in talent acquisition with consistent growth of formal or informal leadership

•       Keen eye and passion for process improvement — identification of opportunities as well as creation of solutions

•       Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to juggle multiple open requisitions while cultivating connection with business leadership and coaching TA teammates on their development

•       A genuine interest in candidate experience and a desire to make every candidate interaction best-in-class

•       Experience serving as team SME on TA tech stack and sourcing best practices

•       Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice to Have

•       Experience leading high-volume recruitment

•       Proven success in creation of niche recruitment programs

•       Strength in reporting and data analytics

•       Strength within HR process design or operations

Benefits
