Global Payroll Enablement Associate

About Rippling

Rippling gives businesses one place to run HR, IT, and Finance. It brings together all of the workforce systems that are normally scattered across a company, like payroll, expenses, benefits, and computers. For the first time ever, you can manage and automate every part of the employee lifecycle in a single system.

Take onboarding, for example. With Rippling, you can hire a new employee anywhere in the world and set up their payroll, corporate card, computer, benefits, and even third-party apps like Slack and Microsoft 365—all within 90 seconds.

Based in San Francisco, CA, Rippling has raised $1.4B+ from the world’s top investors—including Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, Sequoia, Greenoaks, and Bedrock—and was named one of America's best startup employers by Forbes.

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Global Payroll Enablement Associate to join Rippling’s Global Payroll Operations Enablement team. This role will help keep the team’s enablement engine running day to day by supporting recurring reporting, operational cadences, SOP and documentation hygiene, training content, internal communications, onboarding support, and project follow-through.

As Global Payroll Operations continues to scale, the team needs stronger systems for keeping knowledge current, turning process changes into usable enablement materials, and making sure recurring operational work is completed with consistency and follow-through. This person will partner closely with the Global Payroll Operations Enablement Lead to maintain the operating rhythm of the team, support frontline readiness, and ensure updates, metrics, documentation, and action items are translated into clear next steps.

This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys creating structure, building content for internal teams, managing recurring processes, and improving how teams learn, operate, and stay aligned.

What you will do

  • Support the Global Payroll Enablement operating rhythm by preparing materials, updating trackers, documenting outcomes, following up on owners, and keeping recurring weekly and monthly workflows moving.
  • Help maintain recurring reporting and team updates by gathering inputs, identifying actionable follow-ups, and turning data or process updates into clear next steps for the team.
  • Draft and publish internal enablement communications including newsletters, process updates, launch notes, reminders, and team-facing summaries.
  • Maintain SOP and documentation hygiene by refreshing existing SOPs, standardizing formats, checking links, cleaning up stale materials, and ensuring process documentation stays current as workflows evolve.
  • Build and enhance enablement content including training materials, learning paths, onboarding resources, knowledge base articles, and internal guides for new or changing processes.
  • Support onboarding and ramp programs by helping improve onboarding materials, training paths, buddy-program resources, and new-hire readiness content, while partnering with the Enablement Lead on overall program direction.
  • Help facilitate training and enablement sessions by preparing content, coordinating logistics, capturing feedback, and improving materials based on team needs.
  • Keep project and process work organized by maintaining clear owners, timelines, next steps, status updates, and follow-through across enablement initiatives.
  • Track key operational and enablement signals by monitoring recurring outputs, surfacing gaps or blockers, and sharing updates with the right stakeholders or channels.
  • Support AI and automation readiness by helping keep source content accurate, identifying knowledge gaps, testing outputs, and supporting adoption of AI-enabled workflows.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Payroll Operations, CX, Product, Engineering, and other teams to gather context, prepare materials, document decisions, and keep action items moving.

What you will need

  • 2+ years of professional experience in a fast-paced environment such as business operations, project management, or management consulting.
  • Experience working in a fast-growth or startup environment is highly desirable. Must have a "roll-up-your-sleeves" attitude and be adept at navigating ambiguity.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational, project coordination, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage time and prioritize tasks across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Experience in global payroll, FinTech, or international launches is a plus but not required.
