We’re looking for a mid-weight designer to join our Cape Town-based marketing team - an energetic, in-house team that operates with the speed and creativity of a boutique ad agency.

Job overview:

You are the ideal candidate if you bring a blend of conceptual creativity and technical, roll-out precision, specifically with a portfolio that demonstrates excellence in both print and digital design.


You’re perfect for this position if you:

  • Have at least eight years of experience as a Graphic Designer, ideally with a background in an advertising agency or a fast-paced in-house team.
  • Are a master of the Adobe Creative Suite, with excellent skills in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Proficiency in AfterEffects is a bonus.
  • Possess a sharp eye for visual hierarchy, typography, and colour theory, ensuring every pixel and point is perfectly placed.
  • Are equally comfortable prepping high-end documents for print as you are creating engaging assets for digital platforms.
  • Can push creative boundaries and add your personal touch while upholding our Corporate Identity (CI).
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines with a positive, "can-do" attitude.
  • Are a collaborative team player who is organised, deadline-driven, and highly detail-oriented.


Your role and responsibilities

As a core member of our Marketing team, you will help shape a dynamic visual presence for our diverse portfolio of businesses and the overarching Group brand.


Among other tasks, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Multi-platform design: Developing high-impact visual assets for integrated campaigns, including printed brochures, event collateral (pull-up banners, merchandise), and a wide array of digital assets (Google, META, YouTube, Email, etc).
  • Conceptual and collaborative innovation: Working closely with fellow team members to bring cross-functional campaigns to life.
  • AI integration: Staying at the forefront of AI design tools and have proficiency in AI prompting to push the boundaries of your creative on a daily basis.
  • Brand stewardship: Maintaining the integrity of our various brand guidelines and ensuring consistent excellence across all touchpoints.


Work environment and contract

  • Hybrid position based at our offices in Kenilworth, Cape Town.
  • Three days a week in office, two days remote.
