Position Description:

Saliense is looking for a mid-level Business Process Reengineering Specialist who can lead day-to-day workstreams within a rapid current-state operational assessment. That includes planning and running analysis of critical cross-cutting processes. They will diagnose the root causes of performance gaps and develop actionable recommendations to improve process, procedure, and tools. The Specialist will help shape the Operational Assessment Plan, lead stakeholder interviews and working sessions with senior client executives, guide culture benchmarking against peer public and private organizations, and turn findings into recommendations for the high-level process redesign and the future-state operating model framework. They will also contribute business reengineering and transformation recommendations to the Enterprise Organizational Health Assessment and will mentor junior analysts and review their work.

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in business process reengineering, operating model design, or management consulting, with at least 3 years supporting federal agencies preferred.
  • Proven experience leading end-to-end current-state and future-state process analysis for complex, cross-organizational processes using standard methods (e.g., BPMN, value stream mapping, SIPOC, RACI).
  • Experience designing assessment plans and methodologies and running gap analyses and root-cause analyses that lead to prioritized, actionable recommendations.
  • Experience leading stakeholder interviews, focus groups, and facilitated working sessions with senior executives, including designing questionnaires and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative findings.
  • Hands-on experience with operating model design, organizational health or culture assessments, and benchmarking against peer public- and private-sector organizations.
  • Experience writing and briefing executive-level deliverables (assessment reports, recommendation briefs, process redesign packages) on accelerated timelines and guiding the work of junior team members.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Clearance: Able to obtain and keep a DHS Fitness Determination (Public Trust); must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Preferred Certifications: Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt, PMP, Prosci Change Management, or a similar certification is preferred.
  • Strong executive communication and facilitation skills. Familiarity with critical infrastructure, cybersecurity, or incident management frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF 2.0, NSM-22, NCIRP) is preferred.

Salary Range: $130,000 - $145,000

The salary range listed for this position is based on multiple factors, including relevant years of experience, education, certifications, specialized skills, security clearance level, and overall alignment with the role’s requirements. The final compensation offered may vary based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
