The Role

Are you passionate about premium, dynamic brand experiences powered by data-driven personalization? A proven expert in omnichannel lifecycle marketing, with a particular niche for email? If yes, we’d love to connect! Shift Paradigm is searching for a seasoned Lead Strategist to serve as a trusted consultant on our team devoted to one of the world’s most admired financial services brands.

Reporting directly to our Senior Director of Data & Insights, in this role you will blend consulting instincts with hands-on channel knowledge to lead end-to-end strategic analysis, diagnose performance gaps, map multi-touch journeys, and guide creative recommendations. You will collaborate across data, creative, and operations teams to deliver post-campaign reporting and build business-led narratives with slick, compelling data visualizations and actionable audience insights. Please note, this is not a technical engineer role or a sales role - this is a true strategic consultant. 

Though we are a remote organization, this role must work on US east coast hours.

What You'll Accomplish 

• Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to clients, operating as a thought partner to build long-term relationships and identify growth opportunities.
• Lead client-facing workshops, strategy presentations, and workshops sessions, aligning design and copywriting partners to execute the vision.
• Develop quantifiable content strategies, test and learn and measurement methodologies to demonstrate marketing ROI against client business objectives.
• Leverage dashboards and raw data in collaboration with data engineers to interpret complex datasets, generating clear and error-free insights.
• Create and own intelligent and beautiful client-facing decks, utilizing your expertise in storytelling with data and presentation design to clearly communicate your narrative.
• Be a subject matter expert on email marketing trends and best practices.
• Share best practices with clients and your colleagues.

What You Bring

• 10+ years of experience in omnichannel or lifecycle marketing strategy, with meaningful time spent working on email marketing for or with major consumer brands. (Financial services experience a huge plus.)
• A proven expert leveraging data to drive business decisions.
• Deeply passionate marketer who can effortlessly shift from the strategic altitude of multi-year, omni-channel test-and-learn roadmaps down to the granular mechanics of a specific journey stage, channel brief, or immediate optimization. 
• Curious, always-learning practitioner of AI tools to aid your thinking, output and efficiency. 
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skill paired with a creative spark. You know great design, copy and CX and you can collaborate with creatives to deliver it. 
• Comfortable abstracting insights from large data sets and using dashboards (Tableau, AWS) to make engaging, customer-first content recommendations. 
• Expert in Excel/Google Suite.
• Advanced knowledge of email and digital marketing metrics.
• Highly detail-oriented, organized self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.
• Executive presence with excellent written and oral communication, time management, and client deliverable development skills.
• Familiarity with ESPs (SFMC, Adobe) preferred but not required.

Comp & Benefits

The salary range for this role is $115,000 to $150,000. Salary is based on several factors including but not limited to skillset, relevant education, level of experience, certifications, and scope of responsibilities.
