Speed Xpress Inc.

Head of Process Product

About Speed Xpress Inc.

Founded in 2022, SpeedX offers a superior last-mile delivery experience designed to better connect brands to customers. At SpeedX, we’re more than just a delivery company – we’re partners in success. We believe that ecommerce delivery shouldn’t be a hassle, a financial strain, or a source of stress for businesses. We created a next-level delivery experience that’s designed to meet business's needs, exceed their expectations, and future-proof their ecommerce business.

In just three years of business, we have grown our client list to over a dozen online marketplaces, 3PLs and direct retailers and are now delivering over 300,000 packages daily worldwide – with the number constantly growing. And we have no plans of slowing down.

About the role:

The Process Product Head leads one of SPX's three core product pillars, owning end-to-end strategy, execution, and performance across the Order-to-Delivery lifecycle. This role sits at the intersection of Product, Operations, and Technology — with full accountability for how parcels flow through the network from order intake to final delivery.

You will build scalable, system-driven, and standardized operational processes that ensure delivery quality, efficiency, and network visibility. As the key bridge between Operations (First Mile, Middle Mile, Last Mile), Engineering, and Commercial teams, you will translate complex business needs into high-impact, executable product solutions.

You will lead and grow a team of Process Product Owners, and collaborate closely across US and China teams.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Define and own the Process Product strategy, roadmap, and OKRs for the full Order-to-Delivery lifecycle
  • Act as decision owner for trade-offs between operational efficiency, system capability, and customer experience
  • Establish and enforce documentation standards including PRDs, BRDs, process flows, SOPs, and release governance

End-to-End Operational Ownership

  • Take full ownership of core operational flows across all network touchpoints:
    • Order creation, validation, and allocation logic
    • Pickup scheduling and First Mile operations
    • Sorting, linehaul, and Middle Mile visibility
    • Last Mile dispatch, delivery, and Proof of Delivery (POD)

Process Governance & Standardization

  • Design, standardize, and enforce global SOPs across all hubs and service centers
  • Drive system-first operations to reduce manual intervention and enable volume scalability
  • Oversee the full product lifecycle: requirements → UAT → rollout → adoption

Performance & Analytics

  • Define, track, and improve core operational KPIs, including:
  • Delivery success rate and SLA adherence
  • First attempt delivery success rate
  • Scan compliance and tracking accuracy
  • Route optimization and dispatch efficiency
  • Leverage operational data to identify bottlenecks, improve network performance, and reduce cost per parcel

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Lead alignment across Operations, Engineering, and Commercial — from problem definition through structured requirements
  • Partner with regional stakeholders across US and China teams to ensure globally consistent execution
  • Build and mentor a team of Process Product Owners, elevating capability in process design, execution, and stakeholder management

Qualifications

Required

  • 10+ years of experience in Product, Operations, or Logistics Systems within B2C eCommerce, parcel delivery, or last-mile logistics
  • Deep expertise in the end-to-end parcel lifecycle — First Mile, Middle Mile, and Last Mile — and how each stage impacts delivery quality
  • Proven track record leading large-scale operational or product initiatives with measurable impact on delivery performance and efficiency
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams spanning Operations and Technology in high-growth environments
  • Strong working knowledge of logistics systems: OMS, WMS, TMS, Dispatch platforms, and Driver Apps
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate operational metrics into clear, actionable insights
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, execution-heavy environments with strong ownership and sound decision-making
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including experience working across regions and time zones
  • Proficiency with process and documentation tools such as Notion, Visio, or equivalent
  • Bilingual English/Mandarin required

Preferred

  • Direct experience in last-mile delivery networks, 3PL operations, or comparable logistics environments
  • Agile/Scrum certification or demonstrated experience in Agile product development
  • Experience building or scaling cross-border logistics operations
